2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

Wolves win is no danger. I think they'll comfortably get to 35-36 points themselves now.

Ipswich losing at home to Southampton the huge result of the day as they will struggle to reach 30 points now. Reminds me of Luton losing at home to Sheffield United last season and they lost belief as a result and never really looked like staying up.

Leicester only chance to sack RVN and see what sort of bounce they get from the next one in.

Pretty much done all in all. Two more wins will probably be enough with a few draws which this side is well capable of and they'll be a couple of new faces on Monday aswell I'm sure.

Yep PSR makes it super difficult for teams coming up

Ipswich have still spend loads. As did Burnley last year. The issue is more wages top flight players earn now so promoted teams have to gamble more on up and coming players who lack prem experience.

It will be interesting what strategy Leeds and possibly Sunderland adapt if they come up as they both have 40k coming in and recent takeovers so more potential to have a go like Forest did if they can stay up the first season. Sunderland actually have a really exciting young first 11 for about 25 years so would be a more interesting promotion than a Burnley ,Sheffield United, WBA or Norwich to make up the numbers and not do much at all.

They have bigger PSR issues than us. Can they afford to pay out another manager and his staff

Leeds could do quite well with the red bull group

Clubs always find a way. Everyone said club couldn't afford to sack Lampard or Benitez but club found a way to do it just in time to save seasons.

Leicester also know if they go down the EFL will probably be on them for FFP and give them a points deduction. Still not sure how they've avoided one so far this season.
