Probably not even more than 25-30, but the sooner we pass that 35 mark the better for me.The bottom 3 are not getting more than 35 points mate.

I've always said 30 points is the turning point, if you are stuck in mid-20s a draw doesn't seem to move the dial, but if at 30 then it just feels like one more step to safety.Probably not even more than 25-30, but the sooner we pass that 35 mark the better for me.
They'll be a load of stuff about them winning the quadruple until somebody knocks them out of one of the cups.Could see 3 teams cut adrift, and 1 team out of reach at the top, by March.
What stories can be manufactured to keep it interesting then?
(Of course the team out of reach this time will generate many hours of fawning stories I suppose).
I was just thinking that about promoted teams, the gap between the PL and the championship is growing very quickly, going forward I wouldn't be surprised if the 3 that come up to straight back down 90% of the time.Leeds go straight back down, especially with the guy in charge. Most seasons now 2/3 teams go back down.
So we are 5 points away with 15 games to go. Dyche has been binned. I'll sleep well tonight because I am not a 'kin weirdo.Yep, there's no way that bottom 3 is capable of putting a run of wins together. They're all terrible. 30 points might be enough for safety this season.
Deffo - we should be looking at 11th and be happy if we can get top 12-14th given the absolutely shocking first half of the season we had. I'm sure the club will just breathe a heavy sigh of relief even if we finish 17th though, but that hopefully won't even be the case any more.No looking down, look up. Each PL place is worth about £3M I think. Not to be sniffed at
It's becoming even more of a yo-yo situation than it always was: it's getting harder and harder for teams that go up to stay up (unless you go full Forest), while at the same time it's harder and harder for Championship clubs to compete with those clubs when they go down thanks to the parachute payments.I was just thinking that about promoted teams, the gap between the PL and the championship is growing very quickly, going forward I wouldn't be surprised if the 3 that come up to straight back down 90% of the time.

Sadly the best thing for these clubs to do is to come up, spend nothing, have a miserable season but go back down with the TV money and the parachute payments padding the bank account. Spend in the championship, rinse, repeat.
