2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

Have a feeling after our April of death we'll clinch safety by beating Ipswich on 3rd May, but it'll be a damn ugly 1-0 I reckon. Either way, we absolutely must not lose that one.
We're double the points of 18th place Ipswich, with a better goal difference so they need to better us by 18 points... with 27 points to play for. 😅

I highly doubt a team has ever gone down having had double the points of the final relegation spot with fewer than 10 games to be played.

We could lose all 5 and I reckon we will be mathematically safe anyway before playing Ipswich.

Madness when Leicester sacked Cooper. They were 16th and 2 points above the relegation zone. What on earth were they expecting?
The fans I think never warmed to Cooper for one reason or another. Don't know why really so was only a matter of time till he got the boot. A blind man could see RVN was a joke of an appointment at the time and turned out exactly how most outside of Leicester expected it would with him in charge. Leicester the club and the fans have reaped what they have sowed. They were as good as down the moment they rid themselves of Cooper and replaced him with RVN

Because he was at Forest I suspect

Leicester still have Wolves to play away which obviously is the must-win of all must-win games. But clearly they can't go into that fixture 9 points and -20 goals difference behind Wolves. They have to beat United today to have any chance, so in all likelihood the relegation battle ends today for anybody Wolves and above.

Jep, it's what I don't understand you have to play football that suits the team and Cooper rather did than van Nistelrooy.

They absolutely got battered here for playing like that, and rightly so.

Always thought Wolves will be the one to escape. Just too much quality to be involved alone with Cunha. Vitor seemed to have found the answer to fix the defense, 18 goals conceded in 13 games seems a good value, considering they were around 2,5 goals conceded with O Neil before.

I willl always stick to what ive said. RVN got the job based on the few games for Man Utd which was silly when 2 of the wins came v Leicester. It now looks such a bad move both ways since the changes. I think Leicester Fans wanted the change (But can't actually remember). If they wanted RVN as the new boss i dont know

Would have seemed a crazy comment just a short time at but yes hopefully Leicester win
Though most probably expect Man Utd win. You would not put it past Leicester to get something the way Man Utd are. Leicester if they score at home will score their 1st goal since the 8th December after going last 6 home without one
