2024/25 Relegation Thread

we aren’t getting anything from those

if we haven’t got a gap and we’re in the bottom 3 in jan it’s big worry
Nothing is a big worry. You worry just way, way to much. We will stay up just like every year we do, and like every year ive been condiferent we would do. Even on the bad times, April is always the month we wake up more when we really needed to

Same i was nervous at the start becuase of not winning a game, feel like to many in here have so many other teams palace wolves to much credit making them out to be far better than us. Every team will have hard run of games if it does go bad then yes we just have to get back on it and catch teams back up

Wolves are beyond screwed, find it funny that he thinks there next 9 are winnable when there next games away at Brighton though.

If wolves aren't well clear of the relegation zone by the end of that 9 game run, they'll be down by march.

There 8 games after this run consists of United, Spurs, Forest, Newcastle, Chelsea, Arsenal, Villa, Liverpool.

Could see them at the 25 game point having around 12 points.

I've put a lot about them on another post so won't repeat. But what I'll say, is you get quite quickly get cut adrift, and the pressure that causes is immense. I still think that 10 point penalty did us in for that. We just never got out, and then it starts affecting performances. You see it with a lot of sides, the players eventually just sort of give up. They look close to that point to me.

Whoever doesn't win for them V Palace is in huge trouble.

They only stayed up that season a while back, by spending an absolute fortune in January.

Only thing to cling on for them and the others is this time last year Bournemouth had about 3 points from first 9 games and looked clueless and about to sack Iraola.

Then they came from behind to beat Burnley 2-1 and everything clicked from that moment. They must be top 6 for points gained from November 2023-2024 anyway.

That's a very fair point. There are lots of similarities to Bournemouth, and that will be the hope they have I am sure.

I'm waiting to see more from Wolves before I write them off. They've played against some decent teams to be fair. Southampton and Ipswitch are favorites to go down for sure, and I'd also currently consider Palace the 3rd team. Lots of games to go of course, but trends are starting to form.

I still think us and West Ham will be perfectly fine as well.
