2024/25 Relegation Thread

History in football is what I go by.
Teams that get relegated in no order

Teams that come up from championship

Odd team that has season collapse

Teams that deteriorate over a period of 4 years.....and eventually crumble mmmmmmm us.

And of all seasons one can be sure it's this one.

Ps.

Dyche is a weirdo

If your aim really is to get to the new stadium as a Premier League side, then Dyche cannot be allowed to be the manager. It’s far too much of a risk and I fear we may actually sink this time. We are not far enough ahead and have a terrible run of fixtures coming up. This team should be nowhere near the trouble it is in now, and that is all down to the manager. Get rid today!!
I think it's time for a change of manager too. Dyche is contributing to our problems. However, don't kid yourself about the squad - it's really poor. Just look at the bench today to see how weak it is.

Played all three promoted teams away from home aswell now.

West Ham in disarray again but they've still won their last two at home so will be far tougher to win than today was. Then the away run is Man. United, Arsenal, Man. City, Bournemouth and Brighton up to February.

Going to be one of those seasons I suspect where there's going to be little margin in the home games. They need to be won now, can't be accepting meek 1-1s at home to Brentford and Wolves otherwise it will be the bottom 3 very soon.

I am not saying that it is a great squad or anything, but I think it’s more than good enough to be safe of the relegation zone for most of a season. We will be in that zone by December under this manager.

Forest in the top 4 by the way. This is what happens when you show the minimum of ambition to be better. We refuse to sack one of the worst managers in our history. Levels as the kids say.
We’re not refusing to sack him because we think he’s doing great. Moshiri isn’t willing to pay millions of pounds out his own pocket when he’s about to head out the door in a few weeks, seems pretty clear to me.

The tone was set from the first game.

He had new signings in and a few weeks later the takeover agreement.

It's like forget it if you think you're having a boring comfortable midtable season..

It will be April and the fans will be having to pull the club over the line yet again, kicking and screaming.

I worry about this season. If you wanted an "Everton that" season, then this is absolutely the year for it to happen. We all know that.

And the incoming owners? Are they not worried watching their investment for which they are about to pay hundreds of millions of pounds circle the drain? It’s about to lose half its value overnight if we go down. Someone needs to pull the trigger and very very quickly or this could end in disaster
