West Ham are no great shakes currently but Bowen and Summerville either side with Antonio running the channels is going to cause this team all sorts of issues. Branthwaite must start next week.

Lose it and it's 9 points from first 11 so basically on course for 27 points from 33 and you're usually in the bottom 3 going into May with that points ratio as was the case in 22/23.

And all this after the statistically easiest first 10 matches of any side.

Something like that can be argued endlessly on here.

What is pretty much undebatable is the next 10 games are enormously more difficult than the ten just played. Will also be three game weeks starting very soon.

With the injuries and deflation from results like today it's hard to see many wins in the next two months but I was proved wrong with form a couple of times last season so more than happy to be proved wrong again.

I wouldn't say they're well better. They can't defend for a start as conceding from a corner when 2-1 up was criminal. That's why they're bottom as they've been doing it all season.

We've had a far handier run of fixtures than them.

Any cushion we have over the bottom three is likely inflated by this handy start. Points will get harder to earn now. Dyche will need to turn some of Moshiri's expected defeats into draws and wins to return us to equilibrium.
