2024/25 Relegation Thread

Why would it? We finished mid table last season. We shouldn’t be anywhere near the bottom 3.

We didn’t. You could argue the initial points deduction galvanised the team and fans and led to a short term uptick of results. We certainly put 3 or 4 wins together at the time.

We were also very lucky with injuries last season in a way we haven’t been so far this, and of course the league is stronger this season and the likes of Forest have improved enormously.

We definitely have a bottom 6 squad.

i’ve banged this drum

nxt month we will be bottom

wolves have had the hardest

watch them climb
You have banged that many drums. you may as well do a remake of Final Destination the film - (the reverse). To be fair you got us losing today wrong, as well as losing every game Brantwaite was out, and also us been relegated every season to add to so much more. bar that all good to go

We prob be bottom come Xmas time looking at our fixtures

Again have to play them all anyways wolves also had a var go for them today that xould have been 1-1. Not sure why people think wolves and palace both so much better than us. Both could be right but just have to wait also hopefully us getting players back and new players in jan can help us push up the table

Sobering already looking at the table and seeing Brighton on 19 points, Fulham 18 points, Brentford on 16 points (without picking up anything away) and Bournemouth on 15.

All those probably need five wins or less from the remaining 27 matches to be pretty sure of staying up not that they'll be thinking of it.

Already relegation battle looks like it will just involve five or at a push six teams.

West Ham were awful today for 75 minutes so I think they'll hoover around 13th/14th but they'll likely sack Lopetegui soon so they'll get a bounce from that.

hoover?

A lot is being made of that tough run of fixtures coming up. But to look on the positive.

Liverpool (h) lost this fixture just once in the last 7, winning the last time out

Arsenal (a) lost this in the last minute last season with the goal coming from a handball. Although lost 3 in a row in this one

Chelsea (h) won this fixture 5 times out of the last 6 including last season

Man city (a) lost only 50 percent of the last 2 meetings drawing 1-1 on the penultimate occasion

Baring in mind all of them statistics it wouldn't be unrealistic to think we could pick up points from some of these games

……and get shut of our main handicap Sean Dyche

The ghost of Kenwright lives on. While the Brighton owners turned them into the Cat, that fraud turned us into Duane Dibley

Agree with you but at the same ime becuase of well dyche set up it suits us to play better teams becuase he does not want us to play with the ball. Is all about staying out of the bottom i get the fear but at same time is not over can still get out of it
