2024/25 Relegation Thread

Southampton will get in someone people were purring over on here...

Then still get relegated.
Last time in PL they went from Nathan Jones to Rubem Selles who turned out to be even worse results wise. With a bit of luck they will mess the replacement up again although I suspect God couldn't save Southampton at this point

Dangerous to predict, but I'm starting to feel confident we can make it through Dec. Looking at the fixtures of the "relegation rivals" (worst Marvel film ever), its looking positive (see below). Hopefully after these next 3 games we'll have new owners and slowly start climbing the league.

Thoughts etc...

Wolves:
Leicester
Man Utd
Spurs

Everton:
Chelsea
City
Forest

Ipswich:
Newcastle UTD
Arsenal
Chelsea

Leicester:
Wolves
Liverpool
City

Palace: (Probably the easiest run)
Arsenal
Bournemouth
Southampton

Either way. What ever happens, we are not cut adrift even if the worst does happen the next few weeks, like some thought may happen

The danger is this weekend. Lose to Chelsea who have chance to go top and Leicester would then overtake beating Wolves at home.

Ipswich could also draw level by beating Newcastle at home but their GD is -12 so very unlikely they'd score enough to get out of bottom 3.

Get through this weekend o.k and can't see the others picking up many other points although you never know over xmas period.

Forest at home is a big old game, they're currently 4th and had very impressive results home and away since pretty much the start. Really need to score first v them and then manage things from that point.

If I remember it looked like they were planning for a the drop with those appointments.

We need to win at least one of ours whatever happens. Happy to not be losing of course but we’re racking up a lot of draws. Wins move the needle - a big win in December could be huge for us (also true for all the other teams on this list too, however)
