Yeah he gave his most recent version of that interview about a week ago I think, he basically said ‘of course I’ve made mistakes. I’ll be judged on winning games and I haven’t managed to do it. Obviously I’ve had no money and the players are crap and the clubs a mess and realistically I don’t know what the hell you want me to do. But yeah its my responsibility’. They all do it.

Nah, nah , nah. That was one of those non-apology apologies type things. It was basically "Of course I've made mistakes, none spring to mind, obviously, but I'll say it so I don't look like a sociopath" then lists all the reasons it's not his fault. The man's a narcissist, which is all the more surprising considering the sum total of his achievements is a couple of promotions and qualifying for Europe once.
I know, that’s literally what I’m talking about?! I actually said in almost those exact words. That’s what guardiola did, the headlines make it sound like he just said ‘I’m not good enough’ but he didn’t at all, he was giving it the whole ‘no honestly it’s my fault. I mean it wasn’t me who gave a ridiculous penalty away like, that was nunes but it’s not about him at all he was fine it’s just me I wouldn’t single him out because they were all crap anyway but no honestly it’s me’. It’s just a stock managerial interview in this situation, exactly the same as dyches.

Dyche has never said anything as mea culpa and he's a much, much worse manager.
I’m not defending dyche, i didn’t even mention him you did. I was just saying all managers give that interview guardiola did. About 2 weeks ago he called himself an exceptional manager and said if you’re winning 3-0 with 10 minutes to go and draw 3-3 it’s obviously not the tactics that are to blame. He hasn’t completely changed his mind in that time, like you said, he’s just trying not to sound like a sociopath.
