2024/25 Relegation Thread

Only panic is if Wolves beat Man. United. Then they're right on everyone else.

Have to say Van Nistelrooy is seemingly just doing the things Steve Cooper was. How on earth can you play Wolves at home and bench Buonanotte?! It would be like Dyche leaving Ndiaye out for Ipswich at home.

Leicester seem to be allergic to starting some of their best players and preferring to put out very defensive line ups. RS and Man. City up next for them.

I thought Cunha was getting banned aswell, why was he playing and scoring today? Is this going to be one of those cases where the FA move at snail pace and get round to finally banning him around March.

The footage is there for all to see so it shouldn't take weeks to look at it.

The draws we’ve had are good when you consider who we played but we do need to get more of the wins the likes of Wolves did today. When we draw, one of the likes of Wolves, Ipswich or Leicester seem to win.

Wolves have two away wins now and a draw at Brighton. Still got to visit Ipswich and Southampton. What's holding them back is how bad they are at Molineux but they have plenty of winnable games at home in second half of the season.

That's why you can't get complacent. Points like today are great but this club simply dosen't win enough home games against bottom half teams unless it's the back end of the season when there's no other option. So that's not good enough if you're only winning one away game in 12 months as is currently the case.

Yeahp, exactly really

Wolves getting four points off Man. United-Spurs would send this relegation battle into chaos. Would need to beat Forest in that scenario.
I should hope we beat Forest. All very well - and welcome - to take points from Arsenal and Chelsea, but we were a better side than Forest last season and I fail to see why we cannot beat them at Goodison once more.

Van Horsehead is the biggest fraud appointment in the league this season. He got the job, it seems to me, largely on the strength of being the United caretaker. Yeah, he did well with PSV for a while, but the idea he was a huge catch was given the lie by United's failure to appoint him rather than their latest flavour of the moment.
