2024/25 Relegation Thread

Still think Palace and Wolves are strong enough to get out of the sh1t.

Wolves’ first 8 games have been stinkers tbf and they are away to Brighton next! :). Their last 8 games:

City
Brentford away
Liverpool
Villa away
Newcastle
Arsenal away
Chelsea
Forest away

But then their next 8 are all 10-20th place currently:
Palace H, Southampton H, Fulham A, Bournemouth H, Everton A, West Ham A, Ipswich H and Leicester.

They could quite easily swap places with us, given our December schedule. Reckon Leicester will be down there at xmas, as they too have a rough set of fixtures in the next couple or months.

Then we are hopefully going to be able to reinforce, with perhaps a proper right winger, and hopefully one or two other quality additions. Whereas the bottom clubs will have their thin squads tested over the busy period.

Think we will be ok, but still reckon our arses will be squeaking for a while. Really need a couple of decent results in the coming month, not losing our heads in Dec (picking up the ofd points) and a good January window!

Then its the promised land!
Momentum and confidence can be key. If Wolves lose to Brighton the pressure they will be under facing Palace and Saints will be immense. If we can win 2 of these next 4 it puts us in a pretty solid spot heading into the tough winter schedule

Tbf we have played better tonight with a recognisable game plan. Eze much better first half, Kamada ok. Typical that Henderson who has been good all season does that.
you think glasner stays with you much longer just seen your next two is spurs and wolves. If get beat against spurs would even a draw at wolves keep him his job
