This forum is going in to melt down with any news of trouble in South Africa so I was quite surprised to read this on the BBC. Some of the stuff I've been reading on here makes the place sound like a war zone out there.

To quote UK police currently in South Africa..

"UK police in the country praised their reaction to the 0-0 draw in Cape Town, describing them as "extremely well behaved", even when drinking."

Again from the BBC-

No England fans were arrested after Friday's match with Algeria, despite the 25,000-strong following being left furious at their team's showing.

Not to be to disrespectful but they are in absolute shock and disbelief.

haha, nice one, but that was exactly why I feared there had been some sort of burning the town to the ground.

We posted blag rumours in fairness and no one blinked, its actually news when nothing happens.

True, but the thousands who have traveled out there are hardly the army of darkness that they have been painted as on this forum.

Wait until they go out. Then you will see the sparks fly. They will be prising them in to the jails with a crowbar.
