pmsl, Chico this has to be a very long game wind up. I spent a summer with a group of Glaswegian students in Ohio after I finished Uni. There were about 15 of them and they were so anti English it was unreal. There were a group of English too and we were all working at a theme park out there for 3 months in the summer.

I'm sorry to burst this bubble you have of the next generation of Scots but they were the most racist group of lads I've ever met. At first I thought they were joking when they refused to sit at the same table as any of the English crew in the bar.

It was I who tried to bridge the gap (I just did not get it why they were so anti English without even bothering to get to know any of us) by suggesting a football match. I wanted to mix the sides so we could have some common ground on the pitch, but they only would play if it was an all Scotland team.

So they got what they wanted and we had an England V Scotland match.

England won 5-3 and they refused to shake any of our hands after the match and just sat in a big circle.

It just fueled their hatred of us more. I just gave up on them in the end... there was some very hot American skirt to be had.
 

You must have said something gingerist to them mate in fairness. I go up there a very very lot and have never had one person be funny to a scouse accent, on the contrary they're very friendly and a lot more hospitable to me than when I go down south for instance.

I wish you'd all stop being so obsessed with Scotland to be honest, it's flattering but no need for it.
 
Hmm.. ok then I'm done with it anyways.

Ah! but one final note on the matter. I tried to swap my Everton shirt with one of the Celtic lads and he refused.

Poor form I thought.
 
haha, yeah although I'm talking about that nasty 'one to one' Stephen Hughes one.

He gave that the swerve good and proper. It's still sitting there stinking out my past Everton footy shirts drawer.
 

UPDATE: One England arrest.

That Pavolos Joseph who walked into the England dressing room and spoke to Beckham (press reported all sorts of sensationalist crap).... has been bailed due to appear in court in S.A. tomorrow.
