There was anger. Lots of it. Aimed at the board for making such a stupid decision in hiring a past it, kopite as manager. Brands has been getting grief for years. Same as Kenwright. But when the board oversees one of the worst runs in our history, its going to come to a head as it is now.

Sure. I’m anti Benitez, I’ve hated him for years and can’t change because we’ve hired him.

Understand and get the protest. But I'd rather we stuck with the team whilst relegation is a threat and points are needed.

But the fans have sat faithfully in their seats for the last eight games. And even that has not gotten us a win in that time.

You had the chance to remove Kenwright a decade ago when QIA/Mansour etc were sniffing around but instead clapped the clown at GP and hounded the Blue Union.

With FFP firmly in place to keep the scab 6 at the top of the table its too late to change anything.

This team though? We will probably concede between the 27th minute and half time. Then the games done, because as we know. This team is full of cowards.

If people want to waste their money thats upto them but nothings going to change now.

They should have been doing this sort of thing when Moyes had us just outside the top 4 places and needed a bit of investment whilst Arab Royals and Russian Oligarchs were looking to buy into football pre FFP.

Instead they clapped Kenwright and believed his 24/7 investment search bollox.

I really don’t understand why some fans are so against this idea. To me it seems a well balanced way to protest about how horrifically we’ve been run for years now. It should hopefully get the board’s notice (especially in front of the cameras) whilst not having too much of a negative impact to the support of the team.

To those here calling this “kopite” behaviour, are you happy with how things have been these last 2 or 3 decades? If not, how would you suggest disgruntled fans get their feelings across to the board? Perhaps pen a sternly worded double sided A4 letter to the clubs’ public relations department?

The other side is that most expect us to lose against arsenal anyway, so better to do it in this game, when there's still over 20 games left, then later on when things are worse with less but more important games to play.
