It's symptomatic of the position the club is in. It gives the board and hierarchy the impression that all is well and that people aren't too bothered. And if they think that people are happy, then why should they strive to improve. The club is so complacent right now and it's quite dangerous. We are trending towards relegation over the next 2-3 years if nothing changes.

If people applaud mediocre failure, then it's not a surprise we decline rather than improve. The fact Kenwright is still chairman in 2021 shows the impact the likes of the clapping had.
The clapping has zero impact on why Kenwright is still here. That’s the desire of our wealthy owner who needs a stooge in place to take the rap. Moshiri knows cock all about football but he is a very intelligent and resourceful operator. If you think he’s hoodwinked into thinking all is well at Camp Everton because a few fans prefer to acknowledge the effort irrespective of the result then I think you’re well off the mark. The common issue hurled at him is that he doesn’t understand or communicate with the fans....if that’s correct why then would he be influenced by them?

I did suggest that a protest outside the ground would in my opinion be more appropriate.
The ‘stay out of it’ attitude supports my concern that the division of Blues weakens any protest.
Hope that helps.

I think they will try something further outside the ground at a later game to be honest. I'd be surprised if this is a one off.

The fact the game is on global tv and Neville and Carragher will be talking about it means doing something in the ground visibly will be more effective.

And I think the clapping is a factor in why he is still here. It just showed a club happy to survive and nothing more. He had succeeded in lowering expectations.

I'm fine with every individual deciding to do whatever they like and I hope those in attendance do as well.

People paid for or received their own tickets through their own efforts and if it doesn't hurt you or impact what you set out to do, then why would it bother you whether one does or doesn't?

NP from me on that, but I don't need five replies in a row saying the same thing. I get it after the first time generally, second at the latest.

No time for passive aggressive nonsense either. I'm out of that interaction.

Lol passive aggressive... You're Flippin birds and getting mad at people who share a different opinion and mad at others for sharing their opinion, regardless if it's redundant or not.

If their were a redundancy in opinion that mimicked yours I'd doubt you'd have any problem with it.
