Part of my continuing waning of care for Everton at the moment.
The reality is, I’ve thought for a little while that Moshiri was a front for Usmanov, and since those sanctions came in, Moshiri has spoken once with us publically.
I don’t doubt his investment, but his legacy will always be his rash and foolish ideas. Benitez, Talksport interviews and the insistence on keeping Kenwright and DBB around.
Kenwright is responsible for snatching our identity away, and had it not been for Moyes, we would probably be having this conversation about staying in the football league, rather than the Premier League.
Liverpool asked for clarity, Liverpool got more clarity than what we have.
Moshiri, now Usmanov is off the scene, will disappear. Kenwright will take more day-to-day and we’re goosed.
I’ve only touched the surface of how I feel and it’s already annoyed me. The sheer incompetence of the last 30 years is quite something.
No, he doesn't own the club. He's just our long standing chariman that has leached off the club and treated it like his own personal toy train set for over three decades while overseeing the longest barren spell in the clubs entire history. You're right it is embarrassing. Its embarrassing as hell that this utter fraud has been allowed to get away with his wanton dereliction of Everton Football Club almost entirely unopposed for this long.
Slightly binaryEvery Evertonian.
Do you think we are a well run club?
If the answer no, which of course it is, then support anyone trying to hold this club to the standard that is NSNO.
Let’s have an honest discussion then. When you look at the different aspects that fall under the FOLD umbrella, exactly how many other top clubs come out and give their fans the answers to the very questions we are seeking?
I appreciate that without the AGM, there is a void in scrutinising the club but some of the detail that the campaign seems to want is far too much for a business to ever take it seriously in my view.
The club is in a terrible state and for that reason, they are going to be more guarded than ever before and than most other clubs. That being said, I do not believe that LFC, MCFC fans would ever receive the answers we are asking for and their clubs by comparison are run like real top clubs.
It is right to want change and it’s right to be unhappy with how things are going, on that we can all agree but it loses credibility when you turn that into a shouting at the club exercise where you demand answers to questions that no right minded club would put out for the world to see.
@The Esk @AndyC @jinkyali @BullensRoad
@The Esk has appeared on pod casts and stuff under his real name. Same on mainstream radio. He had/has a high profile user name on here for years, he transferred that to Twitter.
Reg Dwight will headline Glastonbury next year.
Totally agree. Fan base is dividedSee, this is what happens when these campaigns start.
People start the infighting and throw insults at both divides.
Let me tell you something, the insults don't bridge the gap.
I wouldn’t say that I have flip flopped as you call it.In terms of being honest about the whole situation, I've seen you frame reasons why the campaign is doomed and why you won't support it. They appear to centre around one man and if I'm honest, you flip flop.
One minute it was his ego. Now it's the questions he asks.
Yet you still listen to his podcasts and know all about his website. That bemuses me. Why do you if you can't stand him and disagree with him so much?
I think the campaign is entitled to answer such questions because frankly those issues are probably the biggest constraint on our club.
We have an absent owner.
We have a board and management team who have over seen our performance decline so much off the pitch it's now filtering onto the pitch.
We have no strategy on or off the pitch to support any medium or long term plans.
I could go on.
Let's have it right. If the questions weren't so uncomfortable then the club would be bending over backwards to answer them. But they won't because they have no answer.
Does that make it wrong to ask? No. Not at all.
What is the alternative? I'd be interested in finding out how your approach or view would differ to what the campaign is doing?
Youve said change is needed. Well let's hear what you'd do. What's your solution.
I wouldn’t say that I have flip flopped as you call it.
I think the questions are not reasonable to expect the club to answer. When spurs moved grounds, did they lay bare all their financing arrangements? I’d be surprised if they did and so why should we just to appease one man and his undeniable ego. As such, my opposition is a combination of the questions and who they are coming from and I have never flip flopped from that.
I have listened to his podcast to see if he ever talks about his experience so I know if he is credible and so far that has not been forthcoming and I don’t really frequent his website and had no idea the letter was housed there until someone else on here pointed it out.
I don’t think you are ever going to think me asking for more information about the man is acceptable which is frankly strange on your part
Doesn’t the message come from the messenger? If the messenger has an agenda then the message is skewed. If this message is then blindly believed then the messenger has created a negative narrative. I would say the messenger is quite important. With respect mate, it's the message that's the important factor, not so much the messenger.
Isn’t it the case that certain factions of the 27 campaign regularly meet with the club?Yes perhaps fair. I dont think anybody has made that offer though is more the point I was making.
I think the CEO could and should meet with fan groups, particularly those who hold contrasting views. Even if it's just an exercise in improvement, you often learn most from people who hold different views to you.

Exactly. Look at what happened when BK I’ll advisedly spoke with Dana outside Goodison. He was verbally abused andand consistently misquoted. I’m not defending him there btw!I remember when Kenwright had the meeting with people from the Blue Union.
I think more people got upset with it being recorded than what was said during the meeting.
The club will not engage with any fan groups to a serious discussion as they will fear words getting miscontrued.
We will get a written boring statement in the next few days which will say nothing and say we are all pushing in the same direction for success.
Funny that I never mentioned Paul there! That’s your assumption.Aside from wanting a better Everton, what is this agenda of the esk that you think he has?
