#27 Years/NSNOW/#AllTogetherNow Fan Campaign

The only thing that's embarrassing here is the insistent arse licking of Kenwright from fanboys. At no other organisation in any field whatsoever would a chariman of a major business concern be so protected from any kind of criticism. Its laughable. The hate he's getting now would never of got to this point had the man ever, even once, been held accountable for his failings during his time here.

The manager selects the team and the clubs hierarchy selects the manager so when a manager fails it is a reflection on the hierarchy that employed him. We have achieved less then the likes of Birmingham City and Wigan during the last thirty years and if you're seriously trying to say that Kenwright bares no responsibility for any of this then there's nothing more to be said. You've clearly made your mind up and there's no helping you.

Who said he bares No responsibility? Certainly wasn't me. The way some act, like you, you would think he deliberately picked bad managers and set us up to fail.
When in fact under him, we were regular top 6, always seemed to have a decent cup run, got beaten in a final, finished top 4 once and while not able to compete with the big boys, we financially well run and secure.
It's only under Moshiri stewardship that the team have plummeted and we are in a financial mess

“We all want success” is also meaningless buzzwords. Not all of our fans genuinely do, in fact there’s quite a significant proportion that genuinely don’t care imo as they lived through the 80s and are now quite happy to go through the motions, meekly accepting whatever is served up rather than actually have to think about or take part in anything. It’s probably why the atmosphere is so poor at Goodison for the most part, because the majority of the fans there don’t really care deep down. It’s a very selfish attitude but I have no doubt fans of a certain generation think that way.
Not sure that’s right mate.

I was there right through the 80s and long before that and I care about the club being sustainable and successful again.

All or at least many of us who have witnessed and wallowed in the Everton successes of yesteryear would dearly love to witness and wallow in it again… and not just for our sakes but, primarily for all the Blues who haven’t had that joy.

There’s a complete generation of Evertonians who have no idea what it feels like to see an FA Cup lifted by an Everton captain, who have no idea of the exhilaration of a season long campaign culminating in being crowned Champions of England, and who have no idea of the utter camaraderie and tears of joy that 40,000 of us shared in Rotterdam.

Those against the demand for change should really think about that - a whole generation of Blues supporters have never witnessed a trophy - before slating those who wish to see change and the club rebuild and become competitive again.

And no Evertonian has ever yet enjoyed seeing the club win the League Cup.

Oh please…
Regular top six gets a ✅
A decent cup run is winning a cup not pluckily going out at the quarter final stage, no tick for that ❌
One cup final that we lost, no tick for that either.❌
Finished top four once, is hardly a benchmark of success either, no tick.❌
Financially well run and secure… we had to sell Rooney to keep afloat and were loaded with debt, no tick for those either.❌❌

I'm flogging a dead horse here I know but I'll still say it... the benchmark for 'success' has changed, whether you care to admit it or not. A steady stream of top 6/7 finishes genuinely is a pretty decent return in the current climate. I'm not saying Kenwright should be congratulated for that, but we should acknowledge that the days of just putting a decent side together over one or two summers and suddenly challenging for the title are gone.

Oh I'd never claim that he deliberately picked bad managers or was trying to set us up to fail. That would require long term planning. Something we haven't had at this club since the 80's. No, Kenwright hasn't deliberately played his part in bringing us to this point. He did it via a string of ludicrous mistakes that could've been avoided had he not shut down those daring to question him, like the time he banned AGM's for years.......

We didn't achieve anything under Kenwright pre Moshiri. We still just existed. You've been conned into believing that us hanging around the top 6 and occasionally reaching cup semifinals is a substitution for actual success. It isn't and never will be. Its better then now? Sure, but it was still crap. We just existed then too with very little hope of things getting better.

As for Moshiri, who brought him into the club? Who sold the club to him after years and years of wittering on about searching the earth to find the perfect man to run the club and take us forward? We got sold by one moronic egomaniac to another moronic egomaniac. If Moshiri has been a disaster (and he has) then its a reflection on Kenwright for selling the club to him and then standing back while the man brought us to the brink of ruin. Even if he's a helpless bystander that could do nothing about Moshiri destroying us then why has he not spoken out? Because his silence makes him an accomplice as far as I'm concerned.

He also won't get his £1m per year if he speaks out.

Some of the posts in here are exactly why change will never happen, far far too many are scared to upset the applecart within the club so turn scorn on those who actively want to do something about it
I don’t think it’s the aims of the campaign that fans don’t agree on, it is the methods and the people behind those methods.

Each to their own and we all want NSNO to mean something again

Let’s have an honest discussion then. When you look at the different aspects that fall under the FOLD umbrella, exactly how many other top clubs come out and give their fans the answers to the very questions we are seeking?

I appreciate that without the AGM, there is a void in scrutinising the club but some of the detail that the campaign seems to want is far too much for a business to ever take it seriously in my view.

The club is in a terrible state and for that reason, they are going to be more guarded than ever before and than most other clubs. That being said, I do not believe that LFC, MCFC fans would ever receive the answers we are asking for and their clubs by comparison are run like real top clubs.

It is right to want change and it’s right to be unhappy with how things are going, on that we can all agree but it loses credibility when you turn that into a shouting at the club exercise where you demand answers to questions that no right minded club would put out for the world to see.

Given your statements that you welcome dialogue and discussion, I would be interested to hear your thoughts on what I have said above so I have an understanding on what the view from within the campaign is or even the view from those closely aligned to it like yourselves.

Hi mate I have no idea who you are other than you are an Evertonian. Equally you have no idea who I am other than we share the same love for a football club.

I have strong opinions and am prepared to offer solutions as I see it. Whether you or the club accept those opinions is down to each of you.

In the meantime the #27campaign and me personally will continue to campaign as we see fit.

That's whats it's always been about though hasn't it.

Stop being a toxic narcissist.

Is it all the fault of the fans? I'm getting thar vibe having skim read a few pages.

I'm not sure but when we lost 2:1 to Birmingham in the cup in 09 it was definitely my fault for saying yes to a family enclosure ticket knowing full well I'd only ever seen us lose whenever I've sat there. 0 wins, 4 losses. Where do I hand myself in?

I'm at work but I'd advise you lay off drugs. Your paranoid beyond belief.
I haven't ever met or spoken too either Andy or Esk. I'm not part of a campaign.

I will revert to you later when I have time to have some dialogue with you.

He’s back with same scripted guff again. Leeds, Portsmouth, Venkys, Be Careful what you wish for. No shame these people.

What exactly has Bill done to stop Moshiri? Moshiri’s done whatever he pleases while that parasite has sat by and watched on, if he had any ounce of pride he’d have resigned on the day Moshiri brought the fat kopite in against his wishes.

100%. The day they stood by and let that happen is the day that anyone who had one grain of respect left for Kenwright and Baxendale surely realised that they are parasites eating away at the club.

They would have gained a crumb of respect by publicly saying it was a disastrous appointment and they don't want to be a part of it
