#27 Years/NSNOW/#AllTogetherNow Fan Campaign

Let’s have an honest discussion then. When you look at the different aspects that fall under the FOLD umbrella, exactly how many other top clubs come out and give their fans the answers to the very questions we are seeking?

I appreciate that without the AGM, there is a void in scrutinising the club but some of the detail that the campaign seems to want is far too much for a business to ever take it seriously in my view.

The club is in a terrible state and for that reason, they are going to be more guarded than ever before and than most other clubs. That being said, I do not believe that LFC, MCFC fans would ever receive the answers we are asking for and their clubs by comparison are run like real top clubs.

It is right to want change and it’s right to be unhappy with how things are going, on that we can all agree but it loses credibility when you turn that into a shouting at the club exercise where you demand answers to questions that no right minded club would put out for the world to see.

@The Esk @AndyC @jinkyali @BullensRoad
But as you say the AGMs have been cancelled, essentially since pre Covid. (I don't count that sham broadcast one they did with the pre-screened questions as being an AGM.)

The fan advisory board? Best of luck to them, but things there seem to just as secretive as others claim around the 27 years leadership. Names have been published, as have positions, but very little in tbe way of actual reporting what's been discussed at these meetings with the club. With some of the people involved if have hoped they'd have been a little more belligerent with the club, maybe that will come later but I see no evidence yet of anybody involved demanding answers.

Your point about LFC and MCFC is irrelevant because they're run in a largely professional manner. Very early on Manchester City realised they had made an error in their first appointment as Chair (Sulaiman Al Fahim) and quickly replaced him with the much less erratic Khaldoon. FSG have vast experience with sports franchises so no matter how much our neighbours love a moan about "dem yanks, Lad" , they have very little of genuine concern to moan about.

Sadly, I think the only option left open to concerned groups of Evertonians is a shouting exersize. They need to shout loud and long and keep shouting until more and more in the media realise that were not actually content with the leadership. Even a lot of the passive fans we have would probably agree we should be doing far better on and off the field.

It will take patience and a far more controlable chimp than mine to get some kind of serious momentum going, it must currently feel like sweeping water uphill. If each press release, each protest gets just a few more supporters to understand exactly why their not satisfied then that's probably worth it.

NSNO should be something we aspire to, even if it seems further away than ever.

I am not saying we are all not right to be concerned, I am just saying that the level of detail we are asking for is simply never going to happen from any respectable business and even less so from one that frankly hasn’t been ran respectably in decades.

We can make all the noise we want and we should to some extent but if the group judges it’s success on getting the answers to those questions then they have set themselves an impossible task and they have failed already.

Agree completely.

It's a self serving exercise by someone who is able to get people to follow a process which has no value added outcome.

Anyone who tried to sort out the walk out deserved the abuse for simply thinking it was some sort of movement, it was disgraceful and mostly embarrassing to the fan base to even think that would work on live TV. I go the match with a large number who don't go on Twitter etc never mind here who thought the idea was horrendous.

"Once he builds us this world class stadium and leaves we will celebrate", I think it would be better if you just crawl off and start a separate club like United did and stop causing toxic division between the internet fan base.

Bored of people trying to bring the club down. We all want success, however right now success for us needs to be staying in the league again. I’m sure people would rather win the carabao cup and be relegated just so they can say, we’ve won something.

The Moshiri bashing is growing old. He’s invested so much of his money. He’s exactly what we all wanted and because managers and directors of football have blown his money we all now point the finger at him, ridiculous. He’s given Lampard money and Frank/Thelwell have chosen to buy Mcneil and Maupay.

Kenwright, I agree that he doesn’t bring much to the table anymore but Christ this has been going on for years and nothing has ever changed. He’s at the club at least until the stadium is up. He will then have a stand named after him and probably become ‘life Chairman’ or something.

All of this energy needs to be focused elsewhere. How about using all of the negativity and saying ‘let’s do something positive for the game against Wolves on boxing day’, let’s get behind the team, let’s meet and greet the bus, every fan in blue Xmas hats, I don’t know, but I’m bored of the negative crap.

We all support the club, we all want success but that letter is just embarrassing, looks like it took 5 minutes to write with no thought process.
30 years of mismanagement and your solution is for all to turn up on boxing day wearing blue father Christmas hats really?
Our club will only move forward when the apathy to the issues is taken on board by the silent majority
We need to stop criticising the fans that are trying to make a difference and support them .Every protest that makes national news is a good thing how ever small the reaction it still makes for uncomfortable reading by the people in charge.
As for a stand being named after Kenwright I will never step foot in the new ground if that is the case. There are far more deserving people in Evertons history that would deserve that honour.

No, he doesn't own the club. He's just our long standing chariman that has leached off the club and treated it like his own personal toy train set for over three decades while overseeing the longest barren spell in the clubs entire history. You're right it is embarrassing. Its embarrassing as hell that this utter fraud has been allowed to get away with his wanton detection of Everton Football Club almost entirely unopposed for this long.
We need to accept the context of this though. The game has changed, it's just an undeniable fact. We can maybe say Kenwright was involved at the time that we missed the boat and so is culpable to some extent for the situation being as it is, but there's also a little bit of confusing cause and effect going on here. The fact that Kenwright has been involved for this barren run does not mean he's responsible for it.

None of that changes that the board is seemingly incompetent though, and ideally the whole lot of them would go and be replaced by people with fresh ideas and who actually know how to run a football club.

This is the sort of complacent attitude that is part of the reason why we've been in decline for 30 years

"Just support the team" is nothing more than meaningless buzzwords. We've all been supporting the club through thin and thin for the last 3 decades, and all of our lives in many cases. Goodison will be full every week between now and the end of the season, there won't be an away ticket left unsold for the rest of the season, but what good does it achieve while the people at the top continue to make mistake after mistake?

“We all want success” is also meaningless buzzwords. Not all of our fans genuinely do, in fact there’s quite a significant proportion that genuinely don’t care imo as they lived through the 80s and are now quite happy to go through the motions, meekly accepting whatever is served up rather than actually have to think about or take part in anything. It’s probably why the atmosphere is so poor at Goodison for the most part, because the majority of the fans there don’t really care deep down. It’s a very selfish attitude but I have no doubt fans of a certain generation think that way.

I think there's an element of that, but a bigger part of it is just that football has changed. Fans of everyone outside the top 6 are the same pretty much, we go to the game and support them because it's what we do, but ultimately we know we're also rans and there's really not an awful lot we can do about it. The atmosphere was great last season because there was something to play for, it wasn't what we wanted, but the games actually meant something. Nobody really cares whether we come 11th or 12th, so atmospheres are crap when that's all that's on the line.

Since we last won a trophy 68 of the next 81 have been won by the same 5 teams. If you add Spurs and Leicester it becomes 75 out of 81. We do all want success, but just stamping our feet and pouting about it isn't going to make it actually happen. It's a closed shop.

Koeman and Walsh started our decline mate leaving us with turning to Alladyce who actually did "save" us and took us into 8th place.

Lampards a nice enough fella but he's statistically worse than Benitez at this stage.

By far Mosh Mans biggest cock ups in terms of managerial appointments.
What did he save us from? 9th place, because when we beat the worst team in the league at home in his first game we were 9th. 6months later 8th. A very similar squad finished 7th the season before.

An embarrassing cliche post.
Leeched how?
I knew the old tiresome "train set" line would pop out sooner or later.
Bill has never managed the team so how is it his fault we haven't won anything. As for the last bit, you are just embarrassing yourself, he hasn't owned the club for 7yrs and is Moshiri valued employee

The only thing that's embarrassing here is the insistent arse licking of Kenwright from fanboys. At no other organisation in any field whatsoever would a chariman of a major business concern be so protected from any kind of criticism. Its laughable. The hate he's getting now would never of got to this point had the man ever, even once, been held accountable for his failings during his time here.

The manager selects the team and the clubs hierarchy selects the manager so when a manager fails it is a reflection on the hierarchy that employed him. We have achieved less then the likes of Birmingham City and Wigan during the last thirty years and if you're seriously trying to say that Kenwright bares no responsibility for any of this then there's nothing more to be said. You've clearly made your mind up and there's no helping you.
