The club can't veto anyone as far as I am aware.
There is a criteria to be put forward and from what I have seen, part of that criteria relates to experience and skills to ensure the FAB have a wide range of views, skills and experience just like any other board. You wouldnt want 10 board members all of whom having extensive marketing backgrounds and nothing else for example. Similarly, you wouldnt want 10 board members who are middle aged men.

Don't recall many complaints the day Moshiri arrived or when he started flashing the cash. Like us all Bill doesn't have the benefit of hindsight. To even remotely blame him for is embarrassing
Its all pointless though isn't it when the club have a say in whom can be elected.
Its not independent and is driven by whom the club decide is suitable to be put forward.

I think if you look on the FAB section you would be surprised at the separation there appears to be i.e verified voting so there cannot be any suggestion of tampering and certainly no mention of the club having the power of veto.
Additionally, you suggested Jazz Bal may have been on the take and I have only heard him speak once or twice but to suggest he is getting favourable treatment is serious and if true, he would be in violation of the code of conduct which reads:
“FAB members should not solicit or accept hospitality, goods, services, gifts or any other benefit, that may compromise either their position or the FAB, or may lead others to perceive that the integrity of the FAB member has been compromised. An exception of this is in circumstances when working meals or refreshments are provided.”
Like I say, if you have any evidence that any members independence is compromised, please provide the evidence so we can all see it

We didn't complain about Moshiri arriving because many of us wrongly believed that it would be the end of Kenwright and his time here. We were wrong.
We didn't complain because we believed that after years and years of Kenwright and the board supposedly searching for the perfect investor to take us forward they couldn't possibly of found a total dud. We were wrong.
We didn't complain because we believed that the people running the club knew better then us and had things under control. We were wrong.
We didn't complain because we took it for granted that Kenwright and the board had preformed basic due diligence when selling the club to this new guy. We were wrong.
In retrospect its embarrassing how wrong we where and how badly we fell for all the BS back then. What's embarrassing right now is apologists like you still desperately trying to justify the continued failings of our chairman and the board and the man they brought in to take us forward.

Yeah the rebuff of the City owners all those years ago is frankly unbelievable. Just think where we would be now, probably the biggest team in the world!! And the envy of every football club in this country. Instead we're looking down the barrel of ANOTHER relegation fight and all because of a Kin Trainset !!
I don't know Paul or Esk personally, but, I've been around this forum for a while now and I remember him being a very good poster who, occasionally got some very good itk stuff. Unfortunately for him, he went all out on the prospective signing of Alex Witsell, 'Witsell is ours' . He was either given bad information deliberately by somebody at the club, or, as often happens in these cases, things changed at the last minute, either way, it left him looking stupid.
That being said, he is putting his head over the parapet again and calling out our abject board of directors. For my money, I don't care whether he signs his full name and provides an apostille copy of his passport, or whether he continues to preserve a certain amount of his privacy, he is at least trying to bring people to account and fair play to him. This current chairman and his cronies and our current owner have made me fall out of love with Everton, they will never stop me being an Evertonian though. So bad cess to the board and fair play to the 27 years crowd.

Think you are definitely over reacting to that post lad, where has the poster said " unless we won the Champions league" ? You said that not him, top 6 is what he stated. Irrational hatred again there are many Evertonians, who don't like what Everton have become under his long stewardship, who don't like the lies he's spouted over the years, personally I don't care much for him and won't miss him at all when he eventually leaves us. Tell me if a business fails, like Everton have done the last 27 years, who should carry the can ?
