#27 Years/NSNOW/#AllTogetherNow Fan Campaign

I absolutely get the good intentions of this, but it will be completely and utterly ignored by the club, especially since it's not even being held during a game. What if we scrape 6 points from the next 3 games and are sitting 14th or so by the time this protest is set to take place? I bet half of those signed up now would drop out, but you can't go from demanding change to accepting the situation over two victories. Any real protest should be before a game en masse and with those fans either refusing to enter the ground, or doing something in unison during the game, booing, handing our posters to hold up, chanting directed at the director's box, flags, etc.
That behaviour would certainly be horrible environment to play in. Would certainly lead to it being more difficult to win.

We must have a lot of weak-minded individuals in the squad then. Our plethora of captains must surely be able to maintain a calm head amongst the group and have them understand the anger isn't directed at the players. If anything, change would benefit most if not all of the players.

Its a reflection of society in general. Any protest usually has people saying 'whilst I agree with the message, I don't agree how they're going about it' etc.

Some people just think protest should be non disruptive, polite, and as out of their sight as possible.
So..... Not a protest.

I'm really pleased the organisers have decided to go for a matchday in stadium protest.

If it were me, I'd also disrupt the KO time with a load of bog roll/tennis balls on the pitch just before the teams come out. The TV would have to discuss it.

Anyway, well done to all involved.

People having a go at the fans trying to make a stand are as damaging as the ones accusing fans who aren't as being apologists. No point turning on each other. The main objective for the NSNOW group should be increasing awareness of their objectives in the fan base as a whole to allow people to make an informed decision whether to join the protest. There'll be a lot who aren't following on social media, so a presence at the ground on match days may help with publicising the group.

Nothing is good enough for our fans, like I have said previously, I blame Social Media and Fan TV channels on you tube for stirring up the fan base. We have a young hungry manager who hasn't even been here 5 minutes and they want him sacked. Success doesn't happen overnight, especially in football. I agree to a point that there have been some mistakes a long the way, especially THAT managerial appointment. If you lived through the Peter Johnson era then times were much much darker. A new stadium being built (which will increase revenue) a squad rebuild underway. I hate to say it but some of our fans are truly thick.

The only correct part of this entire post is the last sentence.

Slagging off other fans is the lowest of the low. Its costing me the thick end of £300 to go tonight. I'll go and I'll cheer on my team. There's a reason why minority opinions only thrive on the Internet. I'd love to see these keyboard warriors go up to a group of lads tonight and tell them to their face want they think of them being thick for attending the game.

Errrrr, where has anybody connected to any orotest said people are thick for attending the game?

Where has anybody said you can't cheer on the team?

I’m not having a go at them, I don’t understand why this is separate, just become one group . Even the names are too similar.

What's going on now?

So some kid from Scotland is oraganising a fan protest?

Asks where it should be -

Then chooses a different location and a full 3 hours before kick off?

The 'group' was previously Evertonians for Change but then recently changed to NSNO_NOW conveniently just before 27 Campaign change their name.

And this is why we will never have nice things.
