Well we have seen good times under Kenwright & Moyes. FA Cup Semi's, A Final we should have won. Champions League all on a tight budget. Kenwright got Moshiri involved. Bill isn't perfect but he has done a lot for this club a lot of which goes unseen and unaccredited for, maybe a little biased as he is a personal friend of mine.
And there it is.

HappyClapper Exhibit A

Next time you're out with him can you ask what happened to the "ring fenced" Kings Dock money?

I'm delighted to hear about the planned sit in protest. Sure we've been happy clapping for long enough, for all the good it's done us.

If people want to call this kopite behaviour then well whatever. I just don't seeing doing nothing as a viable option, whilst our club custodians continue to run this club into the ground.

Yeah the longest spell without a trophy in our history. He's done "a lot" for this club alright.

Wow! The worst chairman who brought one of our best players in recent memory to our club. When I was talking about some of our fans being thick, you're at the top of the list mate.

Do you often suffer from delusions of mediocrity?

Where do you start with this? Got to be a wind up. Just got to be. “Kenwright got Moshiri involved”. Well, that’s just going spectacularly well I have to say. And I must have been in an induced coma during all of our Champions League games. My hazy recollection is that we played a qualifying round and got knocked out. So essentially it’s one 4th placed finish and one solitary Cup Final appearance in almost 3 decades. The “personal friend” bit was a step too far, though. Nice try.

You see the problem yet??

He’s lowered the standards at the club, he’s made a generation of the fan base believe qualifying for Europe is success, he’s made a trip to Wembley to seem like “good times” hes put this fan base through times of watching us play under the leadership of Allardyce and Benitez! He’s had us singing dancing on the pitch last season because we stayed at n the PL. He’s been at the helm for the longest trophy drought in our history.

He’s pulled the wool over many fans eyes because ‘he’s a blue’

He’s a kin disgrace to this club

The issue with that mate is our fanbase are very kneejerk - one defeat and everyone's depressed then an away point away from home and fans are singing spirit of the blues.
No arguments there, but that's the nature of football fans.
If we get battered you may see decent numbers staying behind if we're still around 16th/17th in the table... but an upturn in form and a win against Villa I'll be suprised if you saw more than 200-300 fans stay behind tbh.
200-300 in an otherwise empty football stadium can make quite a bit of noise over pitchside interviews. I mean, they're motivated enough to stay behind, they'll be motivated to chant.
I think all the evidence points towards Moshiri looking to bring in outside investment - the Peter Kenyon cowboys who were in talks have gone on to since buy some club in Greece iirc so that seems like there were legit talks going in with the club - you then have images floating around of Moshiri and Usmanovs nephew pictured with Qatari Shiekhs and PSG's owner who are buying stakes in clubs around europe.
Oh he's definitely looking for an out, middle eastern money is the obvious one.
I would personally be suprised if come the seasons end that Moshiri hasn't sold at least a stake in the club to someone so for me its a case of wait and see. Protesting isn't going to hurry that process along.
Time will tell on timelines on the owner selling up. The protest isn't over that though, is it? It's about installing competant people in tbe boardroom.

We have a theatre producer, a charity boss and a non exec director (which should be by rights unconnected to the business) who is not only on the payroll but a former player.

It's a joke. That's what the protest is about.
