Well we have seen good times under Kenwright & Moyes. FA Cup Semi's, A Final we should have won. Champions League all on a tight budget. Kenwright got Moshiri involved. Bill isn't perfect but he has done a lot for this club a lot of which goes unseen and unaccredited for, maybe a little biased as he is a personal friend of mine.
You had me at 'good times'

How about turning down the owners of Man City when they came calling prior to their investments into that club?
This is nonsense this, he didnt turn them down, even those who try to use it as a stick to beat Bill with no that, they never actually offered to buy the club, the story was they spoke and that was it. If they actually wanted Everton with the money they have they would of made sure they got it
How about messing up the Kings Dock stadium deal for a power play?
That didnt do us long term damage thou, moving then when there was a lot less money in the game was highly unlikey to revitalise us when you consider Sunderland, Middlesbourgh, Derby, Southampton, Reading, Bolton and all did the ground move thing to no benefit, even Arsenal declined.
After the failure of Kings Dock we actually pressed on anyway

Whilst Im not one to defend old Bully, I remember watching that Frank Mckenna podcast on Toffee Tv where he claimed there were a lot of opposition towards Kings Dock from the Council and that he was informed at the time it was a no go even had Kenwright sorted the funding.

Actually yeah thats another issue all together, it was always a none starter anyway, you only have to look at the footprint, it was never going to work, if we found the money there would of been too many objections for all kinds of reasons.

I actually half think the whole project was just for show, either way its far too far in the past now to be relevant to today

The issue with that mate is our fanbase are very kneejerk - one defeat and everyone's depressed then an away point away from home and fans are singing spirit of the blues.

If we get battered you may see decent numbers staying behind if we're still around 16th/17th in the table... but an upturn in form and a win against Villa I'll be suprised if you saw more than 200-300 fans stay behind tbh.

I think all the evidence points towards Moshiri looking to bring in outside investment - the Peter Kenyon cowboys who were in talks have gone on to since buy some club in Greece iirc so that seems like there were legit talks going in with the club - you then have images floating around of Moshiri and Usmanovs nephew pictured with Qatari Shiekhs and PSG's owner who are buying stakes in clubs around europe.

I would personally be suprised if come the seasons end that Moshiri hasn't sold at least a stake in the club to someone so for me its a case of wait and see. Protesting isn't going to hurry that process along.

Having a go at fans that stay intheir seats, for which they've paid their hard earned cash for tickets, travel and in many cases hotels etc, is ridiculous.

Going to Goodison is an honour, a privilege. You're there to support your team nothing else.

Any protests should come with a better degree of IQ.

Is anyone here seriously saying Moshiri doesn't want to be successful?

Of that he hasn't spent a tonne of cash and landed some decent names?

The football staff were to blame.

Alas we're now screwed due to Usmanov but that's separate

Moshiri has invested a lot of money into the club and is bringing us a brand new stadium, fantastic commitment to the club, nobody can deny that, he has made mistakes and none of us can deny that either. One of the most galling ones was letting the current bunch of losers, Kenwright and Co run the club from the start, instead of hiring ruthless professionals to do it, that will be his undoing.

Moshiri has single handedly put us in a position where our Premier League status is at stake, terrible owner, its our duty as born Evertonians to run his arse out of town.
