Some interesting comments.

To the debate about which platform are match going - we've ran an end of season fan survey for a while now - those who complete the survey referred through the forum indicate that they go the match 3.5x more than those who complete from Facebook. Does that matter? I don't think so, really. I have a season ticket, that doesn't make my opinion worth any more than a blue who gets up at 3am in Australia to follow a game. if I ditch it next season it won't make my opinion worth any less.

As to whether having peoples real names/profiles make them any more civil - you'd think so, but Grand Old Team's Facebook page is comfortably Everton's biggest fan page. We also have the 2nd biggest, but busiest Facebook Group. Our Facebook Group is currently 'at risk' because of the amount of abuse Facebook detect. It's absolute carnage. GOT is comfortably more civil than Facebook when it comes to Everton. It's not even close.

I had words with a few giving it the biggun to me, and it got heated, but Im a big fat arl arse plus i think they rained it in as I had my lad and daughter walking out with me, the shithouses - it was uncalled for and very unpleasant.

If Han was on her own, the shithouses might have been a bit bolder in numbers and stronger with the abuse.

I think a lot of these people in real life you see a different side to them, it's why you should never take to heart things you read, especially on a light hearted forum.

The whole thing was another case of Everton wanting to look righteous.

When the government ordered the review post snakey six wanting to break away, one of the recommendations was fan representation to board level.

Denise obviously saw the opportunity and rushed a half arsed version through. It's completely pointless.

I mean, can anybody tell me the difference between that two seperate fan organisations and the at Everton? We have the Fan Advisory Board and the Everton Fans Forum? The both seem to be very similar, and equally pointless with no real power
