Some chat in the papers over the last couple days suggesting that Begovic is refusing to talk about a new contract with Stoke. I'd like to see us in for him at a snidey price, but I guess Utd will be after him too seeing as De Gea is in the same situation.

Can't see Deulofeu coming in. If we had done well this season then there may have been a chance. The same goes for Konoplyanka. He will either go to the RS or Spurs (probably Spurs).
I have a feeling that spending in the summer will be at a minimum (maybe the money from Mirallas' sale). Even with the increased money from the tv deal I think due to the loss of league places it will be swallowed up by other costs and to pay debt. Wont be happy if this happens as we have quite a few players that will need replacing at the end of the season. A CB, a GK, two new wingers, a playmaker and at least another striker at minimum.
If we do get these in they will be average replacements due to the funding issues and the good out of contract players can easily be attracted by the better teams.

Quite simply, if we don't spend next year. We're going to be screwed imo. We can't lose our better players, and our old guard who have this season seemingly all hit a wall in their careers anyway.
They NEED replacing, and with good players too.
We'll see what happens. I'm trying to stay positive.
