5 games to go - as good as it gets or can it be maintained?

Maybe yes. I certainly think he has to take some responsibility in his handling of players during our terrible pre Christmas form.

But no credit for addressing that? 6 months after he started the job, and a few months later we are well placed, albeit with several more games played than a few around us?

With a record home win spin, and raining goals in?

Blimey.

Would you say Koeman should have got a grip on the situation earlier than he has and the fact that he didn't has cost us?
I actually think a large part of why we've turned the corner was down to Bolasie getting injured. We had no long out ball when that happened and he had to rely on these players doing what they do best, and that is to possess the ball a lot more then move it on. The tempo has been improved but imo this IS NOT the Koeman game plan. His team at Southampton weren't playing like this and his team at Feyenoord weren't.

Be interesting to see how he buys in the summer and what happens when Bolasie is back.

Kev's got the snide I like, just blows hot/cold too often. The rest are just too 'nice' to be winners. We need players with no fear, and bare minimal respect for their opponents. I like the U23 kids, they seem just professional and want to graft till they win. Davies determination drags him through any troughs in matchday performances.
Davies and Holgate and anyone else coming through will get the loser stink on them if they play any longer in teams with that lot in.

Nah, did you see Holgate post-Man Utd. He was fuming with a point. He's becoming his own man

Couldn't agree more. Bolasie started strong but it felt as if the team had either stopped playing as a unit or he became caught up in the success and overindulged but we lost the plot. Took a little while after Bolasie got injured to sort it all out..

Fine to have him back but I worry we won't learn from the first run.

This.

As said mate, not a typical Koeman set up this. Players in during the summer...especially up front....will determine the new/old game plan going forward.
