You must be guttedProper Harsh punishment that, while 115 Charges FC are running round having a right good ol time.
City's case wont even go to court for the next 2-3 years, it's wrong, morally wrong.
Ultimately their opinion isn't relevant and should have no impact on any appeal. Can't see a points reduction. Luton, Sheff United and Burnley (again) will all kick off
The 17.4 million infrastructure is spurious at best though. Essentially EFC is saying that the R&M and bank drafts for working capital went to construction costs when their agreements stipulated the money was for working capital.Absolutely sickening.
Even this...
4. The league then rejected all of Everton's exclusions for 20/21 such as 17.4 million going to the stadium financing, 5.8 million to youth development, 10 million for Sigurdsson, and 61 million for covid related player trading losses.
That's infrastructure ffs!!!
Player purchases and sales are only part of the accounting. It’s not as if the PL have their trial balance accounts or are controlling cash. It’s not their job to sanction purchases and sales, made clear in the report. It’s their charge to review the annual accounts given by the clubs an determine if there are breaches.
EFC are responsible for their finances and compliance. No one else.
Got me six months years ago so thank [Poor language removed] he wasn’tProbably Leonard , Rex passed away 7 years ago , it's the sort of thing that Everton would do.
Community serviceYou can bet ur backside City and Chelsea won't get "Relegated" or a point deduction, they'll get a £25m fine or something ludicrous which is peanuts to them.
You must be gutted
The fury over this will die down and we'll be slogging through games that don't go for us and the morale will be shattered.
We'll lose our way in January/February with injury and the pressure of it all.
Are people actually arguing here we'd have got 48/50 points this season - which is what we;ll have to do now.
No chance.
The problem was that the figures we produced were absolutely farcical. The owners tried to con and bluff their way out of this. The most bizarre was the COVID-related player trading losses. How could we claim for COVID-related losses when we were still buying players? The value of the players we bought would have been affected by COVID.Absolutely sickening.
