6 + 2 Point Deductions

When the sports media were all talking about independent regulators, the PL came out and charged City with all those offences, the fact that City have kicked it down the road again meant we were perfect for them to make an example of.

That is the only reason they have been so harsh, to keep the regulators away.
That isn't true. The Premier League has been trying to pursue City for years. City has just used the courts to prevent the Premier League from holding them to account. Instead of doing that Moshiri wrote the accounts out on the back of a cigarette packet and tried to blag it.

If this was City, Chelsea or the RS there would have been far more made of this.

Keeping our heads down ahead of an appeal isn't the way to go about this. We should be kicking and screaming about this, its a farce.

Going along with any concept of respecting the process of appeal isn't worth talking about, the whole process is a kangaroo court and we should be calling it out for what it is.

The 17.4 million infrastructure is spurious at best though. Essentially EFC is saying that the R&M and bank drafts for working capital went to construction costs when their agreements stipulated the money was for working capital.

This is the largest disagreement and if the loan documents state the money is for working capital, EFC don’t have much of an argument.

The 5.8 million for youth development is a fairly ridiculous argument from the club as well

^ this.

The fact that someone or a number of people at board / leadership level thought that an intra-company loan from the stadium company to the football company to cover interest payments on loans that are publicly available agreements stipulate what the money can be used for and is charged against, is absolutely scandalous.

It's negligence of the highest level.

And then those people that signed off on those agreements didn't even bother to give evidence to the comission.

Suppose one of them must have been in a headlock at the time.

…I think they’re limited to what they can say at this point.
Why.. could have called out the PL as corrupt an organisation who bowed to the cries of you can't punish the fans when it was the scab 6 only to punish the fans of a club who spent a little bit more than allowed.
