I don’t think that’s the negligent part. These all reek of after the fact excuses. They probably thought they’d be in compliance but weren’t and came up with this.^ this.
The fact that someone or a number of people at board / leadership level thought that an intra-company loan from the stadium company to the football company to cover interest payments on loans that are publicly available agreements stipulate what the money can be used for and is charged against, is absolutely scandalous.
It's negligence of the highest level.
And then those people that signed off on those agreements didn't even bother to give evidence to the comission.
Suppose one of them must have been in a headlock at the time.
777 will pass evey test, just so the league can wind us up, when going from everything you see. they shouldnt be anywhere near as close to what it may sound/seemWe will get another 9 point deduction when the 777 deal collapses and we can't pay our biĺls and go into administration.
Why would other clubs who have abided by P&S back our appeal?this could be one of the best seasons in football...If other teams start backing our appeal due to the treatment of the super league 6... it could be seen as the start of bringing true football back...
On that basis/formula I too don't think our appeal will work. We were £20m over according to them.I’ve done a quick read through of the Commision’s document it’s here if this hasn’t already been posted :https://www.premierleague.com/news/3788486
We really are a shambles some of the things we tried to blag and include in like the 4%Transfer Levy . So we believe we’re “ £7.9 mill over” , so guilty . The Commission believe the PL that we‘re £19.5 mill over. The PL suggested a points deduction based on 6 points if over plus 1point for every £5 mill over , so 10 points on that formula. The Commission rejected that formula , but surprise surprise said there was no mitigation , here’s a 10 point deduction.!!
It’s difficult to see how our appeal will work . “ We’re guilty, but it’s harsh with no real mechanism for working out what the punishment should be” seems to be the only way .
There is also the suggestion in there that 12 points is the maximum sanction. If so the likes of City and Chelsea may just accept a one season 12 points and settle out of court.
Ask them if they know where the premier league headquarters is while you’re there.i’m going to the FA headquarters to sit on a chair and go on a hunger strike
I'm not sure you should be allowed in this thread for health and safety reasonsWe will get another 9 point deduction when the 777 deal collapses and we can't pay our biĺls and go into administration.
Did we break the rules? Yes we did.
Only thing we can do is appeal about the level of punishment.
Which is what they expected. It will get reduced to 6 or 5 points and we will accept that as a victory.
It's been a classic example of grandstanding us.
Go on lad we are all gutted by todays news and WUMs are not funny at this time ,We will get another 9 point deduction when the 777 deal collapses and we can't pay our biĺls and go into administration.
It appears from some of the comments about the report (I haven't read it) that the biggest issue is the 50M stadium costs not being written off due to planning not being in place. If this is the case then we should easly have the whole thing thrown out.. a semi competent lawyer could sort this one out.Did we break the rules? Yes we did.

Why would other clubs who have abided by P&S back our appeal?
It would be like clean athletes backing an appeal of an athlete who had admitted taking PED's.
The likelihood is that instead of backing us other clubs may well be looking at suing us for damages.
Providing the games are refereed fairlyThe only positive I can take from it is, if we were 10pts down at the beginning of the season, we might not have had the fight to catch up. So atm we are basically level with the others, psycologially we can finish out of the bottom three.
