6 + 2 Point Deductions

Anyone else seen this? Found it on another forum so no idea of the truth TBF
If they are going to dock them points, this season is the one to do it as it will not affect the title race. City would miss out on CL for one season, but in the past teams from the sky six do well from not having European football for one season as they really perform well in the league without the extra games.

Aye or say,

15 games to get 39 points to take them to the magical 40.

2.6 points a game.
1.78 is their average points per game now (23 games/41 points).

Could be a bit iffy for them. Story is bollox though….

Saw this too, but it's based on the opinion of a professor at Sheffield Uni who likes to speculate about football finances.

He thought our initial 10 points would be halved, hes also gone on record saying Forrest would get a harsher penalty, but then going back on it saying it will be less.

I don't think he's thought are completely invalid, but I don't think it's a reliable source of what will happen.

There are other forums?
Only mumsnet, but it's pretty much a clone of here:

It would be so typical to dock them 40 points and they still finish above us. Ugh. They deserve 100 points taken away with relegation. We got docked twice and the PL was probably disappointed we survived.

The Utd one annoys me more than city tbh
City scenario just highlights what it takes for a club to break into the Sky cartel. Newcastle, Villa et al will find it almost impossible
Ukraine war is not an 'exceptional circumstance' but potential lost sponsorship for such a bigly club like Utd due to Covid is.
Wars are run of the mill everyday occurrences now allegedly

Anyway feck it, we all knew what PSR was, a protective blanket for the cartel, and we all know that anytime there is a point to be made we are the example. The Niasse rule is alive and well

Anything in the media about punishment is simply click baiting by the media and rubbish speculation spouted by clowns.
The outcome of the case will be made known in February - so ignore anything else until then.

Its one thing if City got away with it. United were given exemptions that we weren't given for nonsensical reasons. They were quite clearly trying to make an example out of us. And they will get away with it because of Moshiri
