6 + 2 Point Deductions

Played both City and Spurs twice in our last 10 games which is completely bizarre and nobody else has had to suffer such a run of fixtures. On top of that we’ve also played Villa at home, and Wolves away who are excellent at home. We’ve got that stupid fixture quirk out of the way now so I’d expect us to start picking up a few wins.
This is the big positive but equally going on a long winless run creates an awful lot of pressure and the table will look very bad for a while.

The negative is that our forwards are not playing at a level that's good enough for top flight football.

Long way to go, but obviously it could go either way. A win next up would help a lot.

Why are you so sure? Our form is appalling.

It's the sort of complacency that causes trouble. Luton win later and they're 4 clear of us now and two wins shy of 29 points. Momentum is critical. We are limping along.

Check it...

I'm sure because if we were on 29 points we'd be ahead of the likes of Fulham and Bournemouth who realistically aren't going to go down, and so realistically neither would we.

We are on a bad run of results but our fixtures since mid-December have included City twice, Spurs twice and Villa and I think we've given a decent account of ourselves in all 5 games. The only genuinely poor effort was Wolves (and Luton but the cup is irrelevant).

It's moot because I don't think we'll get ten points back but if we did we'd be comfortable mid-table for the rest of the season.

Doucoure just seems to knit together our whole attack. Gives wide players someone else to aim for and helps win the ball back high up the pitch. If he could be back for Palace and stay fit for the rest of the season, that would be a massive boost.

You can't just put "we can do what we like and you can't sue us" in a contract and make it so. The law of the land is paramount and you can't exclude it, even if the other party signs the contract. They wouldn't necessarily intervene on the actual merits of the tribunal but I'm pretty sure the courts could get involved if the process has been unjust.

Correct , you can’t agree for someone to murder someone and sign a contract and then sue them when they don’t do it .

Just because two parties agree on something doesn’t mean that the law of the land changes between the two parties
