6 + 2 Point Deductions

Hahaha yeah, we’re the teenagers in that instance.

Listen to yourself. A TWENTY POINT DEDUCTION for absolutely nothing at all, would relegate us. We would look absolutely pathetic lying down and accepting that while still trying to compete fairly. Basically an acknowledgment that they can just do whatever they like to us. No chance, not in my world. I’d be disgusted with our football club if we accepted that without biting back and trying to harm them in return.

It's not absolutely nothing at all is it? We can agree it is excessive and aspects of the process are unfair but its not "absolutely nothing".

It genuinely angers me. There’s a good portion of our fanbase that I’m convinced find some sort of weird comfort in misery, like if something good was to happen to us then it would unsettle them a bit as it’s not what they’re used to. They’d find a way to turn that into a negative because that’s their comfort blanket, that’s what’s normal, we don’t like change over here. The unknown scares them more.

That'd be the fans cheering on Dycheball

It doesn’t really matter what people will ‘accept’. What you gonna do, throw your dummy out of the pram? We can absolutely protest, and we should, but they won’t change whatever the appeal decision is regardless.

yes and we had to sell Richarlison early (and for circa £20m less than we wanted that would have meant no breach)

Its an interesting one this.
If forest get it reduced on selling Johnson for more albeit after the period then on the face of it, it emphasises the point we made in first commission hearing about selling Richarlison for less than perceived value.

the PL have put themselves in a rather invidious position because of their odd rules catching up on them

At some point it won’t be about getting them to change the decision, it’ll simply be about bringing their “product” into disrepute. That’s if people’s theories about us getting 20 points deducted even end up coming to fruition, as at the minute they have no basis until we at least know the appeal result.

You were on here defending Farhad Moshiri the other day and now you’re on here saying we’ve “reoffended” (we haven’t, we’ve been charged for the same losses we’ve already been charged for previously), make your mind up.
Don’t you tell me what to do, LOL.

I wasn’t defending him, he’s been awful, the point I was trying to make, and failing to make, was that for years we didn’t have any money to spend, we then got taken over by a billionaire who just went out and spend loads of money and built us a new stadium. I respect him for that. I get he has left us in a complete mess but I also think people say things like ‘he has left us a billion in debt’ but they forget the stadium has cost like 700m to build. So I get it like.

And your other point. You nor I don’t know the facts with the second offense yet. Nobody does because no accounts have been released. The facts are, as I stated, we have been charged for another P&S breach, therefore we have been charged again, therefore re offended.

I think you need to get behind the club. This is an injustice.

As I understand it the premier league changed the rules during the time frame of the original charge. Then used the new rules to charge us for the period when the previous rules were in place.
Everton thought they were working openly with the premier league to the original rules and did not expect to get charged for this period.
If this is the case I think a good lawyer will get something back for us.
Mate getting behind the club on a message board doesn’t mean much. Going to finch farm to see the players off, going to Goodison to welcome the bus, going to Goodison to march to the ground, going to Goodison even not to get into the ground but just to be there to support the team and club over the last few years is getting behind the club, all of which I personally have done by the way.

I have read all the information available and I think you have to be careful about what you read online. One article says this and one article says that. The truth of the matter is that we admitted our guilt and they came up with what they considered a suitable punishment. Our argument now is was that punishment suitable. Regardless we broke the rules and that’s why I think we will get nothing back.

They haven't go over by 65 millions...it is rumoured to be lower than our breach.
Either way it calls into question the “sporting advantage” charge that has been used to justify our deduction.

Forest have bought 900 players with the aim of staying up. We have a bare 11 starting players and have had to sell a range of first team and youth players which incidentally impacts our home grown quota.

The whole thing is a mess of the PLs own making
