We can certainly pick themWe must be the only club who can say Our chairman is the worst chairman we've had since the last one who it turns out is also the worse chairman we've had since the one before.
Johnson to Kenwright to Moshiri, FFS
People are presuming we are guilty, what actual proof do they have? Rhetorical question because I know they have none. I will bow out of this thread because it certainly isn't my intention to wind anyone up.
Yep. But we all know Everton won't do that. They're better than that.it would never happen but I’d absolutely love it to put them all in unheated changing rooms (the refs), take the railing off the stairs to the TV box, put the most hideous lunches on for any league officials and only the league officials. Anyone with any sort of formal connection to the league or the media to have the most miserable experience.
Moshiri signed Mylenko and Patterson because the Premier League initially believed the line about the loan interest being deductible from P&S calculations because it was being used to fund the Stadium. That fell apart when the Premier League investigated the loans further. That's not the whole story though is it? Poor management and risks that didn't work out took us into the danger zone. But we could still have pulled through had it not been for a range of mitigating factors, including Covid, transfer difficulties stadium financing etc. And the club was working hard to ensure compliance, was engaging with the PL, etc. Of course mistakes were made, but no way would we have signed Patterson and Myko unless the club believed that it could stay under the threshold.
Interesting that the PL had to get a court order to requisition documents from City. Yes they have really cooperated.People are presuming we are guilty, what actual proof do they have? Not 100% sure it works like that. The commission have found us guilty, and applied the penalty. It seems to me there is no specific rule on punishment for breaches of profit and sustainability.
Why is that? In most areas of the 'rules' it should be clear what the maximum and minimum sanctions are.
This should also reflect the likely %age for reduction based on co-operation and future compliance.
Otherwise what is the point and incentive for co-operation?
In the absence of any specific punishment / scale it looks thike this commission has plucked a figure from mid air.
And why has this penalty been applied with immediate effect? We have appealed. Judgement should be pending.
And where's the bloody asterisk to shame the corrupt PL when the table is viewed?
If they didn't break the rules they may never have gotten to the PL.. if we are talking about what might have happened.View attachment 235763

Leicester make £3.1m settlement with Football League over FFP claim
Leicester City have agreed to pay the Football League £3.1m to settle a long-running claim that club breached financial fair play ruleswww.theguardian.com
There's nothing to stop them dealing with them one charge at a time. It’s not really is it? I am sure it’s quicker to deal with 1 charge than 115?
Loiks like. They can claim £4/5m due to position in the table im reading it as. Same as other clubs.
Possibly the 2 clubs that finished in the final relegation place has a claim to sue for a lot more due to relegation.
Thats the way im reading it.
But they have opened pandoras box. If this is allowed then clubs will be going after clubs left right and centre everytime they break any rule.
