6 + 2 Point Deductions

Glad we left the appeal til the final day, it’s been an absolute shambles from top to bottom.

Theres enough holes in the process to drive a bus through so why shouldn’t we get both or one of the point back on appeal?

Having said that, I thought there were huge holes in our first charge and thought we would get more back than 4 so wtf do any of us know.

They will probably increase our punishment, and give Forest their points back, the agenda is that strong.

More happy that we’re being awkward with the appeal tbh, thought we might thank them again!

Says they founded the club in 1904. So when they win their first ever title, this pleb decides to link them with the holocaust.

Will defend City's owners to the hilt too.
Exactly, and they were founded as a "factory club", they are still called Werkself, which means factory-eleven. Long history.

More sympathy than Hoffenheim from me. That is a club without tradition.

It’s because most of the no mark clubs in the Premier League actually benefit from these rules as they have no intention of ever trying to progress and are happy to just remain in the league and milk the gravy train for as long as they can. Without these rules clubs like Brighton and West Ham wouldn’t be able to flog players for £100m every year. Look at Luton, wouldn’t have a hope of surviving this season if it weren’t for the rules hauling other clubs back into it. Palace are another one, happy to finish 14th every year and keep bringing in the TV money.

People are falling into a trap of thinking it’s the top 6 vs the “other 14”, it definitely isn’t. There’s a lot of tinpot scabs in this league who are every bit as anti-competition as the top 6. The only groups of fans who would be against the rules are those who have been directly affected by them, everyone else simply doesn’t care.
Not a fan of calling clubs no marks. They’re fans just like us and it’s the prem and owners making them come across as small time.

This is not a serious football club.

Shows several issues here.

Football isn’t a sustainable entity given that more clubs outside of Europe which have one stream of income compared to those in Europe are paying more on the never never for players just to stay up let alone compete. Almost as critical as the financial crash of 2008.

And

The current and proposed PSR rules are completely incompatible with inflation and other factors.

The only solution is a flat wage cap across the board however there is an anti-competition aspect to this in Europe and particularly in the PL where clubs are held back and inadvertently at risk of liquidation due to trying to survive and grow let alone challenge the established top six.

Either way, football is well and truely having a gin and tonic playing touchy feely with the grim reaper at the bar. Just a matter of time until the taxi arrives…
