If we get a point today or more would it make more sense to cancel the points appeal? Surely the lawyers fees etc will be the same as the difference a place in the league makes? And secondly we run the risk of having more points added on?

Yes. If Everton have followed the law in regards to accounting practices in the U.K., then the premier league are in no position to be telling us that we can’t do what we have done. Plus the auditors have signed off on it, so it is pretty much nailed on that we have followed the law. It was a very insightful conversation.

We should get the points back or at least most of them, if only we had credible owners and a half decent board, who knew what they were doing at the time.

On 44 points now, 14th place. We are now only 3 points off of Chelsea in 9th. A big improvement over last season, dont let Masters convince you otherwise. Id say theres a pretty good chance to end on 50 points.
