How does our interest thing fit in with the “has to be sorted within the same season” rule they brought in, which meant we will be the only club penalised twice in one season, ever? How were they allowed under their own rules to kick that can down the road.

Plus, the accounts we sent to the PL December 23 that revealed our new interest accounting are presumably now audited, approved, signed, and warmly stashed at companies house. Be weird to challenge the accounting treatment in a set of audited a filed accounts.

If we aren’t on the naughty list, guaranteed the Mail will say Southampton are considering legal recourse against us. Instead of just being better.

So chance we might just be charged simply because the interest hasn't been sorted and therefore no one can even say if we are or aren't over, which would be a total farce. Unless it's been quietly let go.
