Chelsea seem to take the absolute piss out of the rules but are never judged to have fallen foul.

Would be nice if the league grew some balls and scrutinised the big fish as well as the low hanging fruit like Everton, Notts Forest, Leicester.

If we've really breached so horrendously and had to sell the likes of Maddison, Barnes, Dewsbury-Hall etc and replaced them with cheap tat then what hope is there? The rules are such a joke it’s incredible really.

Well yeah that’s what they want. Certain teams want to ensure they don’t have anybody challenging them and that they can dictate the price for the other teams’ best players when they are forced to sell.

Eventually we’ll probably start seeing the cartel sell their academy players to the rest and then if any of them get good buy them back at a price they can dictate thus creating a monopsony
