6 + 2 Point Deductions

It's not bending the rules though. Swap deals were always possible, they just very rarely happenned.

And given some of the astronomical transfer fees paid in recent years for average players, putting a c.10m value on a home grown academy player is not that unreasonable at all.

I think these type of deals will become more common and I don't see an issue. It's 2 unconnected clubs doing deals in their own interest - that's business.

Well, it's not really swapping is it? It's signing players who met a certain criteria which meant clubs could benefit from "pure" profit on the books.

Chelsea getting Kellyman for £19m being the testament to this. Aston Villa signed Dobbin to help us out and vice versa. That's why Dobbin is now on his second loan of the season.

It's finding a loophole in the rules, to get around PSR, which i think is genius and I commend everyone who partook in it.

There's clearly a fair argument in what you're saying, but it's not been done because Villa wanted Dobbin, Newcastle wanted Vlachodimos etc

Last PSR breach. Ornstein tweeted out on the Sunday 8PM that we had breached, before it was confirmed Monday morning.

No one breached? Or been told to save the “exclusive” for closer to official announcement?

Learns lesson to read post before the tweet.

All the colour just drained from before I realised it was from last year

Are we getting another deduction?
Nah we're going to bend the rules like the rest of them...

Interesting point by the suburbia bloke.

If they can’t re-open last years investigation that’s that sorted. And if this time we have stayed under the limit by an amount bigger than the last years disputed interest, then even if the PL don’t agree with our interest accounting, we still won’t breach. So no point them even taking it any further.
