If You Know Your History
Player Valuation: £750k
If we beat Forest today then our survival is very much in our own hands... unless they hit us with another hefty points deduction, which is highly unlikely.

That's some statement to make at 3:43 in the morning.Who they jivin’ with that cosmik debris?
They were never suing. It was always compensation as per the rule books. It’s just the journalists and media are too think to understand the difference.so now the three teams aren’t suing but want compo? wtf what withwe have no money
They know that only Burnley have any standing as the charge was from that season. If they negotiate, they all get something, if they don’t, only Burnley, and realistically, it wouldn’t be all that much anyway as parachute payments limit the damage of being relegated. If they are withdrawing their claims it's not out of the goodness of their hearts, it's because they've been advised that they won't be able to establish causation between our overspend and their relegation, particularly when three of them are trying to claim it.
At most we should be offering them 1 place worth of prize money as compensation.
Yes, exactly. Imagine if you had to cheat to be as crap as we are / were! We could probably argue that if we had not had any money from Moshiri and had just carried on with the same old same old we would have finished higher rather than one place above the drop zone. We are basically moving into magical thinking with these potential compo claims. Which is why i think they will go nowhere, just more noise and posturing.Anyone logically will understand that if Leicester or anyone sue Everton then legally any good lawyer would say ‘what for?’. They will say, ‘now they have been found guilty of breaking the rules it means we may of stayed up’. Any good lawyer says, ‘would you have definitely stayed up?’…..
Leicester reply ‘we would have had a chance’. Everton reply, ‘so you can prove that chance was taken away from you because Everton broke rules based over a three year period?’, Leicester, ‘well there was a chance we would have stayed up’, Everton, ‘but you need proof so where is it? You only play Everton twice over 38 games so you could argue they had an unfair advantage in those two games however you won won and the other was a draw, soooooooooo?
Leicester ‘but, but, but…..’
Everton ‘you ultimately went down because over the 38 games you where worse then Everton, the fact Everton only finished a place above you shows they had no sporting advantage’. End of story.
Absolutely…..we were benevolent….we spent alot of money and it gave other clubs the sporting advantageYes, exactly. Imagine if you had to cheat to be as crap as we are / were! There are a lot of clubs still laughing at our transfer dealings and contracts handed out under Walsh and BrandsArsenal should be called as a character witness.
Thats correct sir. We remember the day well. We had Everton on the phone offering £30m for Alex Iwobi. We thought it was a hoax call. They've been punished enough.

I could very much see us in front of Judge Judy, we are that type of madcap setup. All this litigation. Feels like watching Dallas. Unseemly. At least Dallas was entertaining. This is more Judge Judy actually.
I sort of hope they still push. Televise the compo discussions. The second it’s decided teams got relegated when it should have been us, Leicester don’t get a penny as we wouldn’t have been in the PL. So not only could we not be blamed for their relegation, we didn’t affect their position either. If they are withdrawing their claims it's not out of the goodness of their hearts, it's because they've been advised that they won't be able to establish causation between our overspend and their relegation, particularly when three of them are trying to claim it.
