Which is strange in itself that they intervened at that stage. They don't tend to suspend players after an arrest due to the presumption of innocence.

I wouldn't say positively assert more like guessing (applies to everyone). I can say I didn't think we would get a points deduction due to the upcoming charges of Man City. I suppose a precedent has been set and should now be adhered to for all future teams that fall foul.

But, the wording of the judgement very clearly states that this is not a precedent setting ruling. Their own document basically says, this is a bespoke punishment and any other ruling on other teams indiscretions will be dealt with by another panel who will do what they want. I see that as a major red flag that they are setting out their stall for not ever doing this again.

Hoping someone can help me out on some basic logic here...

Reading that Leeds, Leicester and Southampton want to sue us for £100m apiece - how does that work? Only one of them could have stayed up if we went down, so surely it's only Leicester who have a claim? When West Ham stayed up in the Tevez affair, it was only Sheff Utd who were able to sue them

We certainly took a loan at huge interest from 777 to get us through to now.... and there have been several other loans indicating we are still losing a lot of money per month.

Yes but it's early on in the season, totally different when it comes to twitchy bum time.

We're still early on in the season. We're 12 games in and have 2 points to make up over the remaining 26 games.

I do kind of get the hysteria, but this is the best year for us to be put in this position. It's not the death sentence it would have been in previous years. I'm still really confident we will be safe. The loss of income for potentially finishing 15th over mid table is what we should be grumbling about.

We would have been better off not spending the money in most cases. Our transfer dealings are part reason we were in a relegation battle. They are clutching at straws. It has already been stated we benefited from no sporting advantage,
