My read is, the club got nailed on the charge in March, we were over arrogant and thought we could explain it away at the commission, made no allowance for it during the end of the financial year 22/23 in our calculations- so essentially carried over the breach and we’re getting nailed again for it.

There is loads of fault to go around here, PL - no one saw a -10 unprecedented points deduction in their wildest dreams for essentially what is an argument over an accounting allocation of an interest payment - even more Stupid is we are being charged again for the same failing.

The club was arrogant not to take account it account for 22/23, they can’t say they weren’t warned the charge came in March.

Where do we go from here, the outcome of both charges rest on the appeal in my opinion, one result will dictate the other.

The PL have fkd the league, essentially there will be no sporting outcome to the relegation battle this season, no last day drama, the out come of the league this season will be decided by old men in suits sometime in May - death knell for the league, it’s not sport anymore.

Think Forrest are also Fd, as far as I can see there breach is far more serious then our as it influences a sporting outcome. Be amazed if they aren’t nailed by 10 or more points.

All hinges on the appeal for me and absolutely no point speculating because the whole thing is being made up by the PL as they go along, absolutely no due process or guidance.

We aren't being punished for building a Stadium.

We are being punished for claiming interest on loans that we stated were being used for the Stadium when they were not. The independent panel had the paperwork for the loans and internal club communications that showed that the rights media and metro loans could not be used for the Stadium.

They also had documentation showing that Moshiri was providing loans for the Stadium interest-free. We were trying to claim for interest payments that simply didn't exist.

The we you refer to aren't building a stadium you are building a stand at our former ground.

There is just no way that we will get another 10 points deducted. It was already heavily contested by many people in the game as far too excessive (worst than the 9 points for administration). So even if none of the mitigation circumstances are listened to, something that i think we have a chance, including the stadium, I am thinking the worst that can happen is 6 points for the first offence and another 6 points for the most recent one, so max 12. 12 points is duable. Let's try to be optimistic and start to build a gap.

To be fair, after the last points deduction we went on an amazing run, Just Saying !!!

We were on a good run immediately before the deduction (10 points from 5 games). Why do people keep forgetting this? Maybe it's because the media tell people that we were galvanised by the punishment and people believe what they are told.

We’d only need one more point than we got from the first round of fixtures and we already got one from Villa and wolves which we got none from first time round so we’re on track

I do agree though, I think we all feel we overachieved first half of the season for the team we have

Beaten by Fulham & Luton at home, our home form is so underachieved - 6 points there down the drain - Sheffield United away another 2 points = 8 points - yet we have clawed it back v better teams unlucky not to win at Spurs too .... we should have won another 2 points ... = 10 points ....

The Manchester city lot in the premiership reckons it's a different case, as they think alleged forgery of the books has taken place ?

You could not get away with this in the workplace it is laughable, but not for us ..... punished on just 2 counts - City have 115 pending as probably most clubs bar a few ....
