63 years supporting Everton

Only 59 years for me, @T LEAFE. Seems to me that the team is behaving like a team in transition and that, added to the exertions midweek against Totters did for us.

I'm happy to believe that gradually, Carlo will improve the whole scenario but it will take time.

As for the sixties, I recall some utter junk being payed by us in the middle years. Not often, but it happened.

And tonight’s performance has annoyed me more than anything(ok there have been many as bad)

From the 1st minute the writing was on the wall

Why are we so slow?
Why do we pass sideways/ backwards so much?
Why aren’t we comfortable with the ball?
Why do we make Fulham look like Brazil?
Why don’t we seem to care when I seem to more as a fan?

Im close to giving up
Go back in a tardis and murder Kenny dogleash, rush and graham sourness. A lot of our problems will disappear and you'll be released long before now.

63yrs for me my dad took me to my first game when I was 9. Seen so great football in those years honestly don't think I've missed more than 15 he games in that time, missed the first 5 in 2018 because of prostate cancer. Got to admit I've seen alot of crap in that time also but you just have to keep supporting the team..

Mate I have been with you over 60 years supporting, that Fulham game was the worst performance ever.

Mersey millionaires, In the 1960s two titles plus an FA Cup win was far from utter junk .....
Yes we wobbled a bit, but the money spent plus a great youth system of players who made it plus Bally the greatest midfielder to pull on a blue shirt ever ....'..
It's the money we have wasted before Carlo came plus long contracts is the worry - Carlo to has shown a few flaws imo in team selection, & substitutions v Fulham was a very bad performance a justification in @T LEAFE who highlighted it .....
Imo a good thread highlighting our season so far .......

How can you say that there were dodgy bits in the sixties? A defeat would ruin your weekend
but even then you knew EFC were the biz or close to.

Anyone who lived through that decade will point to the fanaticism, madness that supporting
EFC induced. It was electric. There were heroes, true Gods that played at Goodison.

That lot who played against Fulham are pygmies in comparison, the stadium is smaller, the quality
has declined and mismanagement has prevailed. How could LFC won so much since then compared
to EFC? Step forward Bill...
