If we get relegated, expect creditors to accept haircuts because it will beat administration. Rights and Media would be better off taking a lump sum that's larger than a first-year parachute payment, as an example. A club with a points deduction in danger of going down to League One is worth less than a Championship club, so working something out at the bargaining table before administration with a buyer is smart for everyone concerned.

The problem child would be 777, who probably can't afford to take one, but their standing at the back of the line won't give them much leverage. Someone would have to pay them more than they're likely to receive in administration, but no more, to secure their acquiescence.

End of the day, a prospective shotgun wedding still leaves a buyer with a club that has a shiny new stadium, minimal debt and the ability to spend to rebuild the roster. This is better than letting Moshiri loot the club while selling it to heavily indebted owners. We don't want administration, but being on the verge leads to a better outcome for the club and its fans than a sale to 777.

Part of me thinks 777 don’t care if we get relegated mate, apparently it reduces what they pay Moshiri, while it takes the PL fit and proper person condititioned out of play, it’s a way for the, to get their feet under the table and still raise capital on our profile.

Accountnacy. Sell hime brown olayer and you recognise the value in one go. Buy a new player and you recognise the fee over 5 years. So Simms may or may not have done better. It’s not really the issue sadly.

He didn’t need to loan Danjuma for £3m when Callum Hudson-Odoi was available on a permanent for the same price.
Maybe he wouldn't come here - who knows
He didn’t have to pay £26m on Klarna for Beto when we already had Ellis Simms and Tom Cannon who would contribute exactly the same.
they were sold because we needed the cash
He didn’t have to sign off on the signing of a 38 year old when there were other free transfers available.
Can't argue with that one

777 and Moshiri keeping the club in a state of Limbo is killing us, another member of staff has resigned and leaves at the end of the season, Dan Rice who was recruited from Southampton last year.

Thelwell also out of contract, Dyche is nowhere near good enough. This club needs a full restructure of the non playing staff, on the playing side and with how the club is, have we made plans for recruitment this summer? Does the DoF know the budget?

We will be so far behind all the other clubs next season, we will be scraping the barrel again... Let`s face it, who wants to be part of this absolute basket case of a club in absolute disarray.

Bloody hell….he’s been mullered already

"But we then bought two replacements...
half right

...for £40m?!"
Not yet

I don’t know what you’re getting at here mate. Are you saying that because we’ve kicked the payment down the road a bit that they haven’t actually cost us £40m?

Is it financially prudent to sell two players for £10m and then spend £40m on their replacements who are no better a year later?

Nope just means we'll start this summer.

Which invariably means we'll have to sell someone, Pickford, Onana, Branthwaite, in order to pay for that and we'll only have minimal funds for transfers.

Unless they do similar deals and just push the money down the road a bit.

Of course. But any transfer is now about making the books look good first. They will be looking at similar deals in the summer.

Beto and Chermitti will no doubt be paid over their contracts. So Beto for eg will be £6mill a year over 4 years or whatever has been agreed.

Yeah, I am. Would take him in a heartbeat over absolutely anyone who plays in an attacking position for us.

Simms and Cannon may not have been good enough, but Beto definitely isn’t good enough and cost us £26m for the privilege. Really doesn’t matter whether we’re paying it on klarna or up front, we’ve still got to pay it.

Chermiti also cost us £15m and the manager never had any intention of playing him. So we let go two players for £10m and replaced them with two players for £40m, for absolutely no extra contribution on the pitch. Superb business.

Don’t care if Dyche wanted Young. Thelwell should’ve given him a slap and told him to stop being ridiculous as we’re not signing a 38 year old. Villa knew the score, that’s why they didn’t offer him an extension.

The point is more about the structure of deals and not about the player. You can't be saying "he should have bought this player" when you've no idea what the deal is and what our limitations are.

Hudson Odoi cost Forest £5mill. He's apparently on £80k a week (from the £120k he was on at Chelsea). Danjuma is probably on half that for example. And considering we're at something like 90% wage to turnover, it's a big factor.

Villa got rid because he's 38 and they're looking at champions league/European football. We are looking in skips outside of Lidl

Chermitti was bought with the idea of developing and selling high. Beto scored goals in Italy, fits the type of football. Strikers cost money. Good ones cost more. It's £6mill over 4 years and can be sold on so it's not like we could be stuck with him.

Over the "good get rid of Thelwell too" in my book isn't a great idea as it's almost an impossible job as you're not scouting players you're balancing finances too.
