This needs its own thread. Absolutely incredible. One of the Esk or Myers is going to be correct.
End days stuff this.
Right, he's connected to the Harris Blitzer group, at Palace I'm just not sure how deeply connected. They own multiple American sports franchises and recently purchased the Washington Commanders with a group that has a networth of over $40 billion. They connected all kinds of very rich people so I wonder how many of those same connections Textor has.Estimates seem to range from about £1.5-£3.5b , I know it’s not nation state money but compared to some people associated with us it’s not bad , whilst there is talk of other investors with him . More importantly at first glance he seem relatively savvy .
He’s literally leaving Palace because he can’t fulfil his ambitions there. Like Moshiri he has big ambitions, we just hope if successful he has more of an ability to deliver him.

RWD Molenbeek.
Harry (sorry thought we were in the word association thread)

This fanbase allowed Bill Kenwright to destroy this club and it took 30 years for them to finally protest him properly.I wish the man all the best if he manages to come on board.
The names I am currently hearing interested in the club: Textor, MSP, Bell/Dowling - I dont believe any have access to the kind of financial clout that will be required to satisfy the clubs fanbase in the long term.
Once we're in that world class new ground, selling out just under 53,000 tickets every week, the ambition will grow once we're stabilised in midtable and there will be many vocal groups who will want to see us in a similiar position to clubs like Aston Villa & Newcastle.
In that regard, if any of the above do purchase us, it would make sense for them to try flip us on at a quick profit before the unrest commences. Whilst beggers cannot be choosers, I am personally underwhelmed (but not suprised) at the names in the hat to take on the club.
He spoke more positives in a fluff piece with The Athletic than anyone involved with the club in the last 5 years.Fixed that for ya
You do know he criticised the Prem for not letting him spend money at Palace don't you ?I wish the man all the best if he manages to come on board.
