Tom Morris of Home Bargains fame was approached about investing but he's absolutely no interest in football and refused right off the bat.

Mundane but true.
Home Bargains currently sponsor St Helens RLFC. When the deal was announced supporters of Wigan, Leeds, Warrington and Hull all scoffed at Saints having such a low brand sponsor, until someone pointed out that the Home Bargains group was worth over 2 billion. Shame he’s not into football.

They sponsored Tranmere for a bit I believe

Nothings going to happen for at least the 8+ weeks it will take the PL to decide if whoever is crazy enough to buy us can pass their seemingly arbitrary test that even 777 could not fail (granted they didn't pass either though)
