This is the paragraph

hard work and difficult decisions. Our background is in building successful businesses; holding and investing in them for the long term. All 777 portfolio companies benefit from a shared service model where they can access best-in-class resources from the holding company. That’s the approach we take across all our clubs at 777- with central shared resources for player recruitment, data analytics, and commercial development

Yeah. If you break it down:

- Central resources for player recruitment.

A global network and experience in identifying and recruiting (not necessarily paying for) players and staff, that's got to be better than our existing scouting network.

- Data Analytics

Global reach and analytics capability (shared with all partners) with the experience and technology that goes with it.

- Commercial Development

May be putting words in their mouths here. But I read that as commercial leverage that comes as part of being a global corporation. Eg stadium, sponsorship and partnerships that can be leveraged based on the volume of business that can be driven via the group as opposed to one team.

Could be wrong but don't think the shared resource model being proposed is the issue here. Much more pertinent matters at hand.

Good point

Above is the corporate buzz-word bingo from their message to us all earlier today. Below are links to the current squads and their market value for Genoa, Vasco da Gama, Standard Liege and Hertha Berlin - our shared resources. Looks like Jonjoe on loan for next season it is then!

Vasco de gama have a player we could lon / buy called Jeronimo, for that reason alone, I want this takeover to happen!

Having a club in the top Brazilian division can only be a benefit to us as surely you would think that their scouting network must be much better than anything we had before, for that market at least...if 777 prioritise us over the others, and no reason to think otherwise as here is where the money is, those will become feeder clubs for young talented footballers that we will then sell for big bucks, not too dissimilar to the brighton model

Depleting the resources of one club to boost our resources doesn't sit well with me. Owners essentially forcing through under-value transactions for the benefit of the largest asset in the group. Come on, that's not ethical nor good.

Presumably the money comes from a parent company, rather than us loaning money from other clubs.

It will be the other way around. They'll use the PL TV cash to ensure payments are made on time to their other clubs.
