I have zero knowledge. But from afar it really seemed like he had a hissy fit that the MSP deal didn’t go through, and at the same time they’re going through the P&S stuff, and he just threw up his hands and sold to the highest bidder regardless of their suitability.

It’s not as if he had access to cash in May of 2023, and then didn’t in August. Doesn’t line up with current events.
I mean I had access to cash 1st December and I dont now, cash runs out, is my point.

I’m assuming, despite the links I’ve made to you purchasing the club, that it probably takes him longer to burn through his cash than you.

Otherwise why agree to the MSP deal in the first place? They already had/have their money in.

I can see them selling off a couple of clubs to facilitate us...we're their golden goose.

To make any money on us I think they have to make us semi decent.

We offer them two things mate massive legitimacy and reputainable boost to keep the shell game going mate, we would be their crown jewel, one of the oldest, most established clubs in the richest league in the world, they can get for a structured deal with incremental payments, they can leverage and sell and pocket a profit.

We also offer a highly structured dealt own, over the reported multi year basis, in between paying they can leverage, charge, move money around the shell game, pillage us and then sell on for a profit via appreciation.

It’s too good a deal for them not to do, free or pay later at a reduced price ticket to the party that prints money.

He agreed to the MSP deal cos he had no money?

But I dunno what his motives are.

He agreed to the MSP deal because he wanted a partner to push the stadium along. He chose MSP over a full takeover from 777 by my recollection.

777 was always there, if he was skint and done with the club, he would have gone with them in the first place.

Wasnt MSP intention to complete a full takeover in time?

I mean it was months ago, so im a bit sketchy.

I don't agree personally...to do this to a Premier League club in front of the whole world would be a nightmare for them i think...

I might be naive to the whole thing though.

Keep in mind after what's happened with the Premier League they've got a taste of what's its like to wrong Everton Fc and its fans.
Like they would be bothered about upsetting Evertonians !
One look at their business practices , including their rather nasty core business will suggest they lack much in the way of morality.
Nobody has a good word to say about them in the financial world, so the opinions of a group of football fans won’t worry them overmuch,
They are a particularly rapacious group and their only interest is financial.
They can make plenty of money out of Everton without any financial input from themselves.
And financial input is something they don’t do.

So, we’ve borrowed £200m from R&M, £140m from MSP and £100m from 777. Is that right?

and reports suggest that we’re paying 12.5% interest (maybe more?) on these loans.

So that’s £55m a year interest payments. If true thats just crazy. Someone tell me that my months is wrong please?!

What month do you think it is?
