Wow. Just seems like a massive mess behind the scenes. Between the league, the club, the owner and the takeover, all seems like no one wants to blink first in acknowledging that we are about to go into administration, due to debt and points deductions causing relegation.
All of the above seem to be stalling so they can blame the others for causing it.

If 777 do fall through and it seems likely, you'd have to hope that Moshiri would have to lower his price and entice some more potential buyers.
Well it's either that or administration, which suits no one connected to the club including Moshiri himself.

I said yesterday I thought the PL were stalling because either decision will have bad consequences that would blow back on them, they'd rather run down the clock and hope Moshiri or 777 pull the deal.

But when you look at stuff like missed payroll it's a no-brainer isn't it? Even if the PL veto them and it results in more financial difficulty for the PL I don't think you could argue the PL were wrong to do so given the mountain of evidence available.

sources close to 777 Partners have told Telegraph Sport that they are confident they have provided the Premier League with all the necessary answers, along with proof of the source of their funds and their ability to fund the business plan over three years.

A source said: “As far as we understand, we have answered all questions put to us by the Premier League and we share their hopes that this process will be concluded within a matter of weeks.”

The final price 777 will pay Farhad Moshiri for Everton, should the takeover go through, will be decided by the position Sean Dyche’’s team finish in the Premier League table this season.

From that, thought this was interesting.. don't think seen mentioned before-

The ONLY way they can surely have any hope of approval is if the funding source is different and more concrete than the rest of the wider group. If the source of funds is the same one as is failing to make payroll elsewhere it's an open and shut case.

This is a Ponzi scheme.

We will end up out of the Football League with these people.

Make it stop.
The only vaguely credible thing about 777 is the football department with Dransfield, Spors etc. But you wonder how long for their own credibility they can remain part of a business if it's failing to make payroll etc.

Was it this difficult when the Saudis bought Newcastle?

I think it took over a year, and by the sound of it, the PL was pressured to accept the Saudi bid.

Those are employees. Employees come and go. If we want Dransfield, we could just hire him.
