You`re right, there is no evidence they will but there is also no evidence to say they won`t.

How does 777 stop a team they can`t afford to buy from going in to administration, if only they had a sellable asset.

How many of the club’s they own/have stakes in’s stadiums do they own?

777 are an investment fund. Is there anything stopping Usmanov (obviously the sanctions, which we all know are completely air tight) or his people, from investing in 777?

I think it will be a source of great irritation, especially with the lengths he (allegedly) went to.

I dont think people like him take kindly to £800m losses and being messed around by governing bodies.

I just think the idea of someone like him, putting all that money in, losing considerably more, selling at a further loss, and then watching as someone else takes everything, including a state of the art waterfront stadium, already fully paid for, all for a fraction of its potential value, and to then turn around and go "Sound, cya later", seems equally as far fetched.

I'd imagine he wouldn't be best pleased in being told no and losing face like that. That's all.

I`d need to research but of the top of my head Vasco De Gama and Genoa don`t own their stadium, need to check the others out unless posters have that knowledge.
