They are only in it because the stadium is near completion. Not nearly the owners that people should be looking at seriously.

Sevilla (despite their Europa heroics) are middling at best and bottom most of the times. They got hertha Berlin relegated.

They'll probably be happy to see everton go down and [Poor language removed] them up even more.

Someone being better than moshiri shouldn't be the benchmark. Need to look for people better.
We don't decide who buys us.

Everybody wanted Moshiri out.

Us going down does them no favours. They'll be coming in cheap and looking to sell us on in a couple years time for profit with the stadium potentially in tow. If they're paying roughly £500m or so for the club (including debt), they'll make a tasty profit on that if they keep things stable.

Which is sadly what we all said about Moshiri.

The difference is, Moshiri invested money.

These fellas won't put a single penny into the club.

There's more limitations than the above tbf, they're listed in more detail in the PL handbook (which I cannot believe I even scrolled through in the first part!).

The part that would apply to them is: 'to constitute a serious breach of any requirement under the Act or the Companies Act 1985' - although I don't know if there's any expiration on convictions.
Isn't the Nottingham Forest owner meant to be dodgy as anything too? Allegedly.

I wouldn't expect them to pump lots of money into it either, however, I also don't think they would be selling players for £40-50m and not re-investing some of it.
The sales were invested into the club.

I get it, Moshiri isn't great, but these fellas will be worse.

But we might be a better club.

We won't post huge loses or buy expensive players and who knows, maybe a few seasons in League One is what this fanbase needs.

Scrub that 80s mentality from the fanbase.

On my jollies abroad at the moment just clicked on a BBC window proclaiming Everton close to being sold. Opened it and in my opinion it looked like regurgitated old news as only the beeb do. Is this back on and in the final stages of Moshiri and Bill?

The idea of a consortium of clubs run under one umbrella is a very modern way to run a club.

The thought of us using those clubs like Liege, Seville or Genoa to blood youth and move players into the first team is an amazing and modern way to gain an advantage against other bigger funded teams.

However I see not once single scrap of evidence that 777 Partners have invested into the structure of those teams mentioned but their initial payments.

I see these for a group to pick off the assets of clubs and pay out their investment group and nothing else. No up side or no positive.

We need a takeover but these are not the group we need

These are the investors we deserve based on the state the club is now in. Complete disaster

Sounds like a good way to turn fans against the club, when their insurance claim is denied.

Cretin-level thinking with no comprehension of an insurance company's business model, and how it doesn't mesh with that of a football club. Must be surrounded by some real yes-men.
Even more ridiculous given that by-and-large Everton is a working-class club in terms of support. Hard to pump money out of people who don’t have much money

Look I'm not gonna lie here mate I don't fancy these guys either but we have to look at motive.

Surely the appeal of buying Everton right now is that we are in a mess on and off the field so you can probably get us for a bit of a discount. On the horizon you have a state of the art stadium that will be a good revenue stream with the likes of increased matchday income, gigs, internationals etc.... provided of course the stadium funding is secured and part of that is Everton staying in the Premier League.

Now to achieve that, there would have to be squad investment to keep us competitive, be that from 777 themselves or outside investment they bring in, surely?

So coming back to motive, what can be their motives if they have no intention of putting in at least the base amount of money the club needs to succeed?

None of that is true....again, people need to look at the facts and reality of each situation.

Now, the peersonel / individuals at 777 do concern me.

We cant choose who owns us.....we asw fasn have pushed Moshiri to this, thats the facts of it.
