As long as we finish the stadium there's still hope. The only other hope would be if 777 get turned down as owners and we end up in the same situation as the rs, with Moshiri and the vultures from Rights and Media partners, along with MSP and 777 accepting payment of the gross debt (not the club loans) in exchange for ownership of the club.

Probably explains why the PL is so keen on that loan being paid back for 777 to take over. In effect they wouldn't be taking over if that loan is defaulted on. It also reflects the near worthlessness in value of a partially built stadium. Even if completed, if it ends up being owned by someone other than the club (eg Coventry and Ashley), and the rent is too expensive for us to move in, the value of it as a stadium without us as an anchor tenant would be relative peanuts despite the hundreds of millions it cost to build. The RS aren't going to pay 20M+ plus a year to use it for their reserves or womens team. No rugby team could afford that cost, and I can't see them being able to put on enough events there of a non sporting nature to make a profit out of it either.

I beleive the MSP loan is time limited anyway mate, word is that it needs to be paid back in the next couple of weeks or restructured in some way.

Last year there was a concern raised that we may struggle to be a going concern and this was mitigated with a personal letter by Moshiri that stated he would continue to underwrite the club and was committed to this - though that was never legally binding.

Be interesting to see what is said and posititions tomorrow/Mon.

We have another Deduction on the horizon.
PSR was supposedly brought in to help keep clubs afloat within there spending.

The stadium is too close to completion for us not to finish it and play in it. There’s no one else who’s going to play in it, so even if we go bump, it’s in the interests of the lenders for us to play there. What else are they going to do in it after all???
The issue we face is that it may cost more than it brings in… at least for some time anyway
